significant growth in patent, industrial design and trademark filings in 2018. India saw over

20% growth in trademark filing, whereas in respect of industrial design filing activity, it

witnessed a 13.6% rise.

In the world of innovation, India has an old reputation: it remains a minnow when it comes to

patents. If over 600,000 applications were filed in the US and more than twice that number in

China in 2017, in India, there were only 46,600 — and patent grants came to just over 12,000 in

The Sagacious House – New Beginnings

Sagacious House is equipped with start-of-art working stations and

conference rooms, outfitted with cutting edge communication tools.

Our new facility also boasts a gym, a dedicated games room, a mini

theater and a well-stocked cafeteria.

The Sagacious family bid farewell to their maiden office after 11

successful years of growth & prosperity with an addressal by our

Operations Head, Mr. Prateek Mohunta, along with a quick ambivalent

talk by our Global Sales Head, Mr. Vipin Gulati, setting the stage for the

start of a fresh innings at Sagacious House, the new office located in

Gurugram's Sector 32. After a whirlwind effort of many months, the

new office was celebrated with a Keertan ceremony followed by

Hawan.

With patriotic zeal and enthusiasm, Sagacious IP celebrated

Independence Day with “वेश-संिहता �ितयोिगता where the Sagacians

partook by wearing traditional attire, rparticipating in ramp walking,

and speaking about diversity in the Indian culture. Also, a “ितरंगा �ंजन

�ितयोिगता” was organized where participants prepared tricolor dishes

and sold them to their colleagues, the collected fund was donated to a

noble cause “बाढ़ पीिड़तो ंके िलए दान (कॉरपोरेट सामािजक िज�ेदारी)”.

Friendship Day Celebration

Celebrated on 2nd August 2019 (Friday)

In commemoration with the the bond of friendship between Sagacians, we celebrated

Friendship Day as without friends even the most agreeable pursuits become tedious. Many

games were planned and organized along friendship theme, such as “Do you know your

buddy," where participants were asked funny questions about their work buddies followed

by next event in which teams were supposed to write and sing songs on friendship. We also

collected the photos from Sagacians with their best friends and created a video montage to

mark the celebration of this day.

One-O-One Session for Client Calls

Sagacious IP conducted multiple sessions on a one-to-one basis for team members to

enhance their skills for handling client calls and polish their alliteration. Such sessions are

highly effective in forging lasting relationships with clients through careful planning and a

collaborative agenda.

Constructive Feedback

The session was directed towards new joiners to teach them how to take feedback positively

and to further understand its lasting effect in their work. It was aimed to significantly enhance

performance and assist with professional growth in a long term.

Corporate Culture, and Environment (College to Corporate)

The session was specifically designed to introduce the Freshers to the corporate culture and

its underlying beliefs, values and ways of interacting that contribute to the unique social and

psychological environment of an organization.

Intrapersonal Skill - Interpersonal Skill

The workshop was performed to help team members work on characteristics that can help

them form a healthy relationship with themselves and others (team members).

Communication Skill for New Joiners

The interactive session was conducted to help new recruits develop their communication

skills in conjunction with verbal communication, non-verbal communication, listening skills,

professional competencies, etc.

Email Etiquette

The session was conducted to highlight major areas to be taken care of when drafting mails or

responding to mails. The importance of professionalism and efficiency was emphasized as

proper email language convey a professional image and to the point emails are much more

effective than poorly worded emails.

Team Building Session

The session was conducted to help team members work through their skill sets to be good

team players and to help balance all activities across the team. It was aimed to improve

productivity, motivation and increase overall team functioning.

Basic English - Session for IPMS

The session was held to help team members on the technical front with basic English

language to further support them on the professional front.

Communication Skill – PM

The session was specifically designed to help PMs with interpersonal skill sets focusing

majorly on communication style, written communication, communicating feedback etc. It

was intended for good verbal and written communication skills to deliver and understand

information quickly and accurately. Sagacious IP understands that being able to

communicate effectively is a valuable life skill and must not be overlooked.

Employee Benefit Session for Searching Engineering Team

The intent of the session was to highlight the benefits that Sagacious IP provides to its

employees as an organization. The goal was to familiarize them with the amicable work zone.

Other Team bonding events organized at BU level

Many more creative and fun games like Effective communication matters: Pass it on!

Charades game, Puzzle solving game, Solve the jumble word game, Pictionary game, were

organized to keep the office environment in good shape.
