Application: After the release of the

GCE ‘O’ Level results and concurrently with JAE. Applicants will be assessed through different modes such as portfolios and interviews.

• Students can participate in both JAE and JPSAE concurrently but can only accept one offer.

• Results for JPSAE will be released on 29 Jan 2016 (tentative), one day after the release of JAE posting results on 28 Jan 2016 (tentative).

• The DAE is conducted separately by each polytechnic.

• ‘O’ Level holders should apply through the JAE first before considering DAE.

• The application for DAE typically closes before the commencement of the polytechnic term in April.

• Students interested to participate in DAE should visit the individual polytechnics’ websites or contact the relevant polytechnics directly.

admission exercises (JAE, JPSAE and DAE) before considering participation in the Polytechnic Centralised Appeals Exercise.

– Appeal does not guarantee placement in your course of choice. Admission is subject to availability of course vacancies in open competition.

Results

The posting results of the JAE application are tentatively scheduled for release on Thursday, 28 January 2016 through the following modes:

• JAE-IS which is accessible through the JAE website;

• SMS to the mobile phone number provided by applicant during registration.

JPSAE

The posting results of the JPSAE are tentatively scheduled for release on Friday, 29 January 2016. More details on the JPSAE can be found at

• https://jpsae.polytechnic.edu.sg and on the respective Polytechnics’ websites.

PFP Application

Application for the PFP will open from 2.00 pm on Monday, 11 January 2016 to 4.00 pm on Friday, 15 January 2016.

Eligible students will receive a letter and a copy of Form P from the school. Students should use the

• passwords (in form P) to submit their applications online at

• https://pfp.polytechnic.edu.sg/PFP/pfp_application.html.

PFP Posting Results

• The PFP posting results will be released at 2.00 pm on Tuesday, 19 January 2016 through the PFP website.

• Students will be required to indicate whether they wish to accept, reject or appeal for a change of course by 4.00 pm on Thursday, 21 January 2016.

The Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP)

• The final application phase for DPP will open at 2.30 pm on Monday, 11 January 2016 and close before midnight on Friday, 15 January 2016.

• Newly eligible students should submit their DPP applications online via the DPP application portal at

http://www.ite.edu.sg/wps/portal/intake/

DPP Results

• The DPP posting results for applications made under the final application phase will be released from 9.00 am on Tuesday, 19 January 2016 onwards through the DPP application portal.

• Students will be required to indicate whether they wish to accept or reject the DPP offer by end of Thursday, 21 January 2016.

Successful PFP and/or DPP applicants • Students who have been offered a place in the DPP under

the final application phase should report to ITE on Friday, 22 January 2016, upon acceptance of their DPP course offer.

• The last day of school for Secondary 5 students who have accepted a place in the PFP will be on Friday, 29 January 2016. Students will be informed by the respective Polytechnics on the dates of enrolment for the PFP.

• Students who accepted a place in the earlier December application phase of the DPP but have now decided to take up a PFP offer will need to apply to ITE to withdraw from the DPP course in order to take up the PFP offer.
