Engineers, 620 Euclid Avenue, Lexington,

KY 40504, dated June 1993 and numbered

sheet 2 of 8.

For dimensions of building see detail #24 or

Contractor shall verify all dimensions on the ground.

Any discrepancies must be reported

immediately to the Landscape Architect for

decision.

The exact layout of the walking trail shall be

determined on the ground by the Landscape

Architect.

All angles are 90° unless otherwise noted.

connecting the northeast portion clockwise

Notations:All curbs to be 6" unless otherwise noted.

Refer to "Kentucky Best Management Practices" for

construction activities manual.

All silt control devices are to be installed before any

site clearance or excavation has begun, and

shall be maintained until construction is

complete, and turf has been established.

All soil stockpiles, if left for more than 14 days, shall

be contained within a silt fence and

temporarily seeded to prevent erosion

No mud shall be tracked onto public roadways; if so, it

shall be removed.

All storm sewer inlets shall be protected from silt,

mud, and other debris throughout

construction.

Meet and match elevations of existing pavement.

Notify Landscape Architect immediately or

any discrepancies.

The contractor shall verify that all areas drain,

including paved areas, swales, and proposed

storm systems. Should any area not drain,

the contractor shall notify the Landscape

Architect for resolution.

The contractor shall ensure that a 2 % minimum slope

is maintained on all paved and unpaved

areas.

Finished grade behind seat walls shall be 6" below top

of seat wall, unless otherwise noted.

All landscaped areas to be filled with 12" topsoil

(minimum) and slope to drain.

Refer to specifications for type and illustration of all

storm inlets and pipe.

Use flowable fill over storm pipes when trenching

occurs under wall footings. Flowable fill to

be as wide as wall footer.

The contractor shall not incorporate any excessively

wet or organic material into any fill area.

Prior to installation the contractor is to check and

confirm that all proposed storm system

elevations and slopes will function properly.

All excavation and fill areas shall be stripped of

topsoil, which is to be stockpiled on site and

redistributed to areas that will be reseeded.

Any unstable material encountered during

excavation operations should be removed

and replaced with properly compacted

engineered fill.

See detail #87 for contruction of tiered seating beside

lap pool.

All surface level trench drains are to be flat along their

length and even with pavement.

Notations:All landscape material shall be approved by the

landscape architect prior to installation.

All plant material and installation procedures shall

conform to the minimum acceptable

standards set by the American Association

of Nurserymen, American Standards for

Nursery Stock, ANSI Z60, 1, 2007.

The contractor shall ascertain the locations of all

underground utilities and assume

responsibility for any damages as a result of

such operation.

It is the contractor's responsibility to confirm all

material quantities. In case of a discrepancy,

the quantities shown on the plan shall take

precedence.

Mulch all landscape beds to a depth of 2 inches.

Planting containers, plastic wrap, and/or wire baskets

shall be removed from the plant prior to

planting.

All areas not planted or mulched shall be seeded with a

mixture of Rebel or Falcon Tall Fescue at a

rate of 6 pounds per 1000 square feet.

Mulch seeded area with clean, weed free straw at a rate

of one bale per 1000 square feet.
