Parent Teacher Meet

The Parent Teacher meet for the Academic Year

2016-2017 was held in K. K. Wagh Polytechnic,

Chandori, on the 11th February 2017 from 10:30

am. To 12:30 pm. The main purpose of meet was

to create a common platform, where teacher and

parents come together to enrich the student’s

educational experiences and discuss variety of

issues, regarding all round development of

students.

The Parent Teacher meet was started at 10.30 am

by lightening the lamp followed by welcome all

the Parents and Teachers. Welcome address and

introductory speech was proposed by Prof. J M

Patil, Head, Electrical, he explained how

KKWPC offer the best possible learning

environment for the students.

The detailed discussion on the Academic schedule

and guidance carried out by Prof. H M Gaikwad

Head, Department of Science. He explained how

such meetings develop the quality of

communication between parents and teachers

which will allow making plans, set goals, solve

problems, and establish the relationship between

parents and teachers. He also talk on exam

schedule, exam pattern, students attendance, new

schemes of MSBTE and also announced the

names of toppers in various department. After that

all parents are requested to express their views

and give suggestions for improvement. Following

suggestions are given by parents,

1. Buses of MSRTC are not available in college

timing 2. No teacher shall be replaced during the

semester

January - 2017 From 11.30 to

1:30 afternoon Miss. Pooja R. Medhane guided

the students regarding the concepts of Industrial

Automation; TYEE student gets information

about maintenance procedures of reading

Ladder diagram. She also explained the

concepts related different techniques of

Automation. Mr. Miss. Pooja R. Medhane share

practical experience with students by his video

clips. The question answer session for

interaction is performed during this session.

Industrial Visit at K.K.W. Arts

Commerce Bldg.

The Civil Engineering Department had arranged

an industrial visit at K.K.W. Arts Commerce

Bldg. Retaining wall, Pimpalas, Tal-Niphad, on

22nd

February 2017. Ms. Neha N.Desai had

explained the Component parts of Retaining wall

and its purpose. She also explained the Types of

retaining wall and suitability of every type . She

explained the importance Retaining wall. it is

used to reduce earth load coming on structure

and it reduces the land slides in hilly area . The

students of second year along with 3 staff

member attended the

visit.

an industrial visit at Vermi composting,

Ananadwali Gangapur Road Nashik, on 23rd

February 2017. Mr. Joshi had explained the

process of vermin composting and the respective

procedure to be followed for the Composting.

Three Days Workshop on “Software

Testing”

Department of Computer Engineering organized a

three day’s workshop on Software testing, dated on

10/02/2017 (Friday) to 12/02/2017 (Sunday) from

9.00 am. To 3.30 pm. The resource persons

Mr.Rajiv Shirsalkar (Director, LO-TECH

PRO,Nashik) and Miss.Rajshri Gadhe are having a

lot of Experience in the area of Software Testing.

The Workshop was arranged for SYCO and TYCO

students. Following are some important topics

which are covered in the workshop as,

What is Software and Software testing concept.

What are different approaches of software testing

(Top down and Bottom up approach)?

Introduction of different testing tools.

How to test a product with alpha and beta testing

techniques.

How quality product is developed by testing

methodologies.

What is job played by software tester in software

development life cycle?

How to test a website by using automated testing

tools.

Days workshop on Entrepreneur Awareness Camp

(EAC) for Third year students between 16th

feb.2017 to 18th

Feb. 2017.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Mrs. V.

R. Khapli, Principal, K. K. Wagh Polytechnic

Chandori, and Mrs. Yogita Jagdhane, from Free

Lancer Company.

Environmental Study Visit

Computer Engineering department organized visit

at Pandav Leni & Dadasaheb Phalke Smarak,

Nashik on Thursday, 23/02/2017 for SYCO

students. Mr. A. D. Talole, Lecturer in CO, K. K.

Wagh Polytechnic Chandori and Mr. C. D. Kokane,

Lecturer in CO, K. K. Wagh Polytechnic Chandori

explained environmental issues and their study.

Various Tree/Plants, Birds/Animals were observed

during this visit. Also Water/Soil/Air pollution was

also observed & certain corrective measures

provided to their local authority.
