charles truman Director of Security

Charles was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. He works for our security company, Cambridge Security, and was assigned to B’nai Torah in March 2017. He became the Post Commander a few months later. Charles has advanced training in executive protection, hostage rescue and active shooter situations, along

with many other specialty courses. He is a former amateur bodybuilder and is working towards competing again in the future. He is the father of 3 children: a 11 year old stepson (Marko), a 7 year old stepdaughter (Eva) and a 2 year old son (Walt).

“Every adult who steps foot in the synagogue is my family and every child that walks in is my kid, I would lay my life on the line for each one and will do everything within my power to protect them.”
