  • IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDSBefore using the electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should alwaysbe followed including the following:1. Read all instructions.2. Before using check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on theappliance nameplate.3. To protect against electric shock, do not put motor unit into water or other liquid.4. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliancemalfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact the Kogan customersupport team for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, andbefore cleaning.6. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.7. Do not let the power cord contact any hot surfaces, including stove-tops, toasters orhot saucepans.9. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children orinfirm persons.8. Ensure fingers are kept well away from moving parts.9. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.11. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk ofsevere injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but ONLYwhen the blender is not running.12. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base without first puttingbowl properly in place.13. Always operate blender with cover in place.14. Do not blend hot liquids.15. Be sure chopping cover is securely locked in place before operating appliance.16. Avoid contact with moving parts.17. This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) withreduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience andknowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use ofthe appliances by a person responsible for their safety.18. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.19. Ensure that the blender is switched off before removing it from the stand.20. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a Kogan technician in orderto avoid a hazard. Any repairs by another repair company will void the warranty andKogan will not be responsible for any issues which may arise.21. The use of accessory not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may causefire, electric shock or injury.22. The appliance can not be used for blending hard and dry substances; otherwise theblades could be blunted or damaged.23. Do not operate the appliance for anything other than its intended use.24. Do not use outdoors.

    Before your first use:Check that the accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Then pour a littlewater into the big cup and mix according to the steps below for one or two times, andthen pour out. Cleaning the Cup and the cup support assembly thoroughly with warmwater.

    When using the jar with handle and (or) filter, clean them with same method as above.Warning: the blade is sharp, handle it very carefully.Note: The big cup and jar with handle are used to make juice; Furthermore, whenused with assembly filters, the jar with handle is used to make fresh soy-milk, orseparate residue, etc. The small cup is used for milling coffee beans or small grain food.

  • Using the blender1. Place the motor unit on a flat surface; make sure the power outlet is unplugged.2. When using the big cup and jar, it must be noted that you should peel or core the

    fruit or vegetables, and then cut them into small dices. When using the small cup,the volume of food that is being prepared for juicing should not be too large.

    Note: never use boiling liquids or run the appliance empty.3. Upend the big cup (or small cup), put the prepared food into the cup. When

    making juice, it is required that a certain amount of clean water should be added tofacilitate the smooth running of the appliance.

    Note: a. the amount of mixture should not exceed the MAX marking (0.4L) on the bigcup;

    b. The milled food in the small cup should not exceed the MAX capacity of small cup (60g);

    c. The amount of mixture should not exceed the MAX marking (0.75L) on the jar

    4. Select corresponding cup support. The big cup and jar use the cup support withblending blade (see fig.1), the small cup use the cup support with grinding blade(see fig.2). Tighten the cup support on the cup or jar by turning the cup supportclockwise.

    5: When using jar with handle, you need to tighten the cup support first, then put theprepared food into the jar. Then insert them into the motor unit, making sure the threefasteners on the bottom cup support align with the grooves on the motor unit. Tightenthem by turning the jar clockwise.(see fig 3)

  • 6. Upend the assembly of cup and cup support, and insert them into the motor unit,making sure the three fasteners on the bottom cup support align with the grooves onthe motor unit. Then tighten them by turning the big cup or small cup clockwise (seefig.3).

    7. If using the jar with handle, assemble jar cover and measure cup on it. If you wantto extract juice or make soy-milk, assemble the filter before put ingredients into thejar. If want to accelerate the blending, using the blending rod ( see fig 4)

    Note: When make soy milk, the amount of mixture should not exceed the MAX marking(0.75L). Soybeans need be soaked in water for at least 4 hours prior to being processed.Operate 5 cycles continuously with 3min ON, then 1 min OFF. The volume of soybeans thatare used for making soybean milk should not be more than one measure cup provided.

    8. Connect the plug to wall outlet and the appliance will start operating.Note: Do not run the appliance for more than 3 minutes per time. A minimum of 3minutes rest period is required between two consecutive cycles.9. When the operation is finished, turn the big cup, small cup or jar in an anti-

    clockwise direction to remove them and the appliance will stop operating.10. Upend the big cup or small cup, hand the cup with one hand, and turning the cover

    in anti-clockwise with the other hand.11. Then select suitable cover: if you used the big cup, cover the full opened cover

    and serve (see fig.5). If you used the small cup, select suitable cover (with bigwhole or small hole) according to you desired (see fig.6). If you do not severimmediately, please cover the full closed cover to prevent from splashing whenthe cup is overturning (see fig.7)

  • CLEANING AND MAINTENANCEThe Auto Clean feature can clean the blender and blade assembly easily, rapidly and in complete safety.-Pour a little warm soapy water into the big cup or small cup and mix for a few seconds by plugging in the power outlet.- Remove the cup by turning it anti-clockwise and then rinse under running water.-Wipe the outer surface of Motor Unit with a damp cloth.Warning: Do not use abrasive cleaners and NEVER immerse the Motor Unit in water for cleaning -Dry all parts and then store them safely away from children.

    For complete cleaning, you can hold the blade assembly at the bottom of cup support carefully, taking extreme care as it is very sharp. Take it out by turning the coupling on the underside clockwise. Then you can put the Cover, Cup and blade assembly intothe dishwasher for cleaning, as they are all dishwasher safe components. Ensure that during the wash cycle, the temp setting does not exceed 70℃.

    If any problem has been encountered during use never disassemble the Motor Unit by yourself, no user serviceable parts inside. Contact only the authorized service facility for examination and repair.
