A future in jewellery seemed almost inevitable for Kat Gee. Her first foray into jewellery and business was at the tender age of 8 selling handmade clay pendants to her classmates. Kat then repeated this exercise later at secondary school with more sophisticated designs.

Pearls are dear to Kat’s heart. Her beloved Grandmother took a strand with her into a Prisoner of War camp in Indonesia in World War 2. She hid these for 31/2 years in her undergarments and this necklace is still proudly in Kat’s family today (see photo below).

Many years later Kat made her dream of creating beautifully unique and affordable designer jewellery a reality with Kagi. Since then Kagi has captured the hearts of jewellery lovers worldwide and is proudly stocked in the top jewellery, department, and gift stores across Australasia.

A previous model for the Kagi collection, Kat takes a hands-on approach to designing each and every Kagi product. She leads a dedicated team to create high quality jewellery and stunning new designs every season.

HOW KAGI WORKS

Design has many sources of inspiration. What we see, hear, touch and feel can shape what direction

the designs take each season.

Kat recently visited an Ayurvedic Health Retreat in India, and there, she experienced first hand,

treatments and practices that are based on a 5000 year old belief system. Kat’s time there

has inspired this latest collection.

One of the key learnings is that the universe and our human bodies are both intrinsically

connected. We feel, in our bodies the influences of nature everyday, but generally, we pay it no heed.

Kagi sets out, this collection, to pay homage; to the elements, to the Energy, and to the forces of

Nature that shape and surround us daily.

Long cherished as symbols of purity and perfection, elegance and affluence, pearls have held the hearts of women across the ages. And with Kagi Freshwater Pearl necklaces and bracelets it’s easy to see why! Our real pearls are grown in freshwater lakes and can take as long as 7 years to develop.

CaTSEYE Kagi Cat’s Eye is made of layers upon layers of super fine molten Quartz crystal fibres. Cat’s Eye is believed to bestow good luck and fortune on the wearer.

SOUTh SEa REd CORal If you wish to attract love then Red Coral is the gem for you! It is also widely known as the ‘Crystal of Passion’ and considered to be the ‘Blood of Mother Earth’ by Native Americans.
