Principles for a creative improvement proposal system
1 {) purpose
The main purpose is to make my job and the work in my workplace better through creative
improvements
1{) participation: ingenuity and creative thinking are encouraged, and active participation is
promoted.
2{) skill development: improvement proposals represent an occasion for real life on the job
training, and they help to develop skills.
3{) effect: the aim is to create a workplace where working is easy, thus building a firm corporate
constitution.
2{) object
1{) all employees should participate in improving the company: everyone should submit proposals.
2{) everyone from the president to the line supervisors must promote improvement proposal
activity. Providing guidance to others is an important job.
3{) the content and types of proposals
Every constructive proposal, even if it is a minor innovation, benefits the company. On the other
hand, demands, grievances, and complaints that do not represent proposal will be rejected.
1{) implemented proposals: these are proposals that have been already realized and whose effect
has been verified.
2{) proposal not yet implemented: these are suggestion that are also considered proposals,
although they have not yet been implemented (they are original concepts, innovative ideas, and
accurate perceptions of problems that will be evaluated)
3{) reference proposals: these are improvements proposed for the work of other departments.
Needless to say, employees working in the department in question use them for reference. (if
these proposals are recommended by employees working in the department in question,
however, they deserve a special commendation.)
4{) how to submit proposals
1{) in principle: proposals are submitted to the first reviewer (direct supervisor of your workplace).
After obtaining guidance and permission, you should implement them whenever this is possible
(these proposals will be classified as proposals that have already been implemented)

2{) you can also submit proposals directly to the corporate offices, but such proposals will be
accepted only as reference proposals. The corporate offices are not responsible for examining,
answering, or implementing such proposals.
5{) evaluation and feedback
1{) details regarding the reviewers, evaluation standards, the review process, and incentive awards
are provided in a enclosure to this document.
2{) reviewers are responsible for evaluation of proposals; they must respond to proposals and
provide guidance.
8{) ownership of rights
1{) rights relating to the content of a proposal belong to the company
2{) in case the right of industrial ownership is applied for, a separate application must be
submitted in accordance with the job related invention regulations.
