now enable filtering by product category.• Price Lists > Manage Products screen also now
enables filtering the priced items by category. This will make the updating of prices much easier.
• Price Lists now prevents items from accidentally being priced at zero.

Floriology Institute at Kennicott Alsip May 22-24
On March 6th, two of our Michigan teams will join to create Kennicott Mid-Michigan.The Nordlie Flint location and Saginaw Valley wholesale will combine forces under one roof in Saginaw to better serve the entire mid-Mich-igan market.
Our veteran sales crew from the Flint area -Greg Benton (30+yrs), Glen Farmer (20+yrs) and Jeff Myrick (20+yrs) will be moving to our com-bined Saginaw location, joining forces with their industry veterans: Rod Dietzel (35+yrs), Ed Karaba (32+yrs), Kim Herbers (27+yrs), and Tim Lynn (12+yrs). Several other familiar faces (and a few new ones) will also be joining the team.
The new location will have expanded cool-ers, new racking and soon a state-of-the-art computer POS system. We intend to expand our service to the Flint area, as well as Northern Michigan. The combined inventory and buying strength should give our management and buyers more flexibility and ability to fill orders.
Gustavo Gilchrist, President of Kennicott Bros., belives the management of Ken Kruska and Al Gerken, as well as combined veteran sales staff, will create a stronger branch that is better able to serve our customers in the mid-Michigan market. The two locations now have 80+ years of experience servicing our customers.
Our Detroit location also welcomes the transfer of Tommy Figueroa and Dave Abney to its staff. All Nordlie/Kennicott locations have reviewed and streamlined their delivery routes to provide continuing and improved service to the florists of Michigan.
Floriology Institure's 3-day ‘On the Road’ course will be held at Kennicott Alsip May 22-24. Head-lined by floral designer and instructor Jackie Lacey, the event will focus on the skills and knowledge evaluators look for when judging competitions and awarding certifications such as AIFD and CFD designation.
