Designed in the UK for our weather and way of life, the Kampa tents are named after beautiful British beaches.We offer two ranges - our Ultimate tents, which we believe are the finest tents available on the market today andour Endurance tents which offer high specification and easy living at affordable prices.

Weathershield ‘feel the difference’ 4000mm Flysheet Made from high quality polyester, Weathershield is better quality than the materialsused by our competitors but don’t take our word for it ‘feel the difference’.Weathershield has a higher tear strength, superior UV resistance (it will last longer)and a better feel. All seams are hot air taped and Weathershield material has amassive 4000mm hydrostatic head (a measure of waterproofing) - that’s 4 metresof rain water.

Weathershield Airflow FlysheetOur Holkham and Polzeath models feature Kampa Airflow flysheets. The classicpolycotton flysheet provides all the protection of our polyester flysheets but willmake the tent interior feel cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold weather. TheAirflow flysheet is complemented by polycotton inner tents and a premium qualitysewn in groundsheet (removable in the Polzeath).

SleepTite SystemA good night’s sleep is essential when you’re on holiday. When the sun rises mosttents are filled with light that invariably wakes the occupants, especially youngchildren. We have introduced our SleepTite System that ensures that the interiorof the inner tents remain darker, even in bright conditions. The SleepTite Systemwill be available on all Kampa polyester tents in the Ultimate range. The SleepTiteSystem also provides additional insulation to the bedroom area that will help tokeep the bedrooms cooler in strong sunlight and warmer when it’s cold.

Sealed Groundsheet System (SGS)Protects from inclement weather, bugs and other creepy crawlies throughout theentire tent. The tent is manufactured so that the seam between groundsheet andflysheet is protected from the elements. All our groundsheets have a 10,000mmhydrostatic head.

Dynalite PolesA strong, lightweight alloy frame that makes handling and transporting your tenteasier. The different parts of the frame are linked together for easy pitching and,where necessary, are colour coded.

Dynaflex Flexible PolesThe ultimate flexible poles. All our flexible poles are encased in a strong PE sheathgiving them the strength of steel with the compactness and light weight offibreglass. Where necessary poles are colour coded for easy pitching.

Built-in Sun CanopyFed up with insubstantial, badly fitting optional sun canopies? Many of our tentsfeature a built-in sun canopy that is an integral part of the tent. When not required,perhaps due to a restricted pitch size or in very windy weather, the canopy canbe rolled away and stowed. As well as being preferable, the integrated canopyon a Kampa tent actually works out cheaper than buying an optional canopy –work it out for yourself.

Window Ventilation System (WVS)Some of our tents allow the whole window to be zipped out for that ‘alfresco’feel and to keep the tent cool and ventilated in the warmest of conditions.

Daylight PanelIntroduces natural light into the living area of your tent for a much nicerenvironment. Unlike the PVC roof windows, some of our competitors use, theDaylight Panel adds no extra weight to the roof and so does not cause sagging orthe condensation associated with the PVC windows.

HeightKampa tents are designed to give good interior height making our tents a nicerplace to live, just compare our tents with other brands. The shape of our tentsalso makes them more stable because the roof is more arched and this avoidshaving a relatively flat roof and the associated structural pitfalls.

Our popular Bude tent is now available asboth a two and four berth. The Budemakes a great touring tent for up to fourpeople looking for a tent featuring topquality, stability and easy set up. Access iseasy through the large front door that canbe converted into a sun canopy and oncein the living area you will find goodstanding height and a great view outthrough the numerous windows.

Sleeping accommodation is at the rear ofthe tent and consists of a large inner tentthat, on the Bude 4, can be split into twoseparate compartments using the zippeddivider. New for 2010 is the introductionof our SleepTite System that keepsbedrooms darker, for a better night’ssleep.

On the 4 berth it is also possible to takedown and stow one half of the inner tentif required. A larger than average four berth tent thatalso benefits from a large integrated frontcanopy; so much better than the flimsy,hard to attach canopies that are availableas optional extras on most tents. Thecanopy provides a large sun shade forthose sunny days but also protects the frontof the tent during inclement weather andallows the front door to remain open evenif it is raining - you need never feel trappedin your tent again. The front of the tentfeatures a panel that can be rolled to oneside to create a door or you can open thewhole of the front for alfresco living. Thereis also a large door in each side of the tent,allowing you lots of entry and exit optionswhilst keeping the tent cool in hot weather.These side doors also have the benefit offull length fly screens to keep ventilationflowing without letting the bugs in.

An ideal tent for a growing family. Thebedrooms are separated by the largeliving area to provide maximum privacy.Both inner tents are capable of sleepingthree people or can be used by two forextra comfort. The inner area benefitsfrom our Sealed Groundsheet System andthere is plenty of height throughout. Atthe entrance there is a large front porchthrough which you can access the maintent.

This porch has plenty of windows, all withblinds, and its own groundsheet. The tentcan also be accessed through the reardoor. Walk into this tent and there’s anoverwhelming sense of space. Headroom isexceptional which, when combined withthe natural light from the Daylight Panel,makes the Filey 6 a very nice place to spendyour holiday time and the SleepTite Systemhelps keep the early morning sun out of thetent for a good night’s sleep. Like most ofour tents, the Filey has the large integratedfront canopy unlike most of itscontemporaries where it is an optionalextra. This canopy allows maximum use ofthe rollaway front panel in all weathers andthe most of the living space is useablethanks to the vertical front panel andsidewalls that don’t slope too much.

The Filey 6 also benefits from a large sidedoor that has a full length fly screen andtwo Airflow windows that can be zippedopen to provide maximum ventilation tocreate that real feeling of living outdoors.An en-suite extension is ideal as a toiletarea (it has a separating door) or forstorage – it is also an ideal area to set up afolding wardrobe. The Filey 6 uses our extrastrong Dynalite alloy frame – lighter thansteel but as strong, with the addedadvantage that it doesn’t rust. The innertent can be used as one large bedroom orcan be divided into two private bedroomsusing the zipped dividing curtain. Flexible accommodation in an except-ionally large tent is what the Studland 8 is allabout. It has no less than three bedroomsthat can be used in any configuration to suityour needs – the small front inner tent isideal for a teenager. Outside, the Studland8 looks particularly striking. No other tentpacks more features into its specificationbut the Studland 8 is not just about features;it is based on an exceptionally strong designusing the finest materials that provide secureaccommodation and an excellent base foryour holiday. As with other Kampa tents, alarge canopy protects the front of the tentallowing easy access in all weathers andprotection from the sun on those glorioussummer days. A Vestibule is available, as anoptional extra, which fits the front of thecanopy and converts into an enclosedspace. Three zip out Airflow windows canprovide even more ventilation as can theside door with full flyscreen. Despite its size,the Studland 8 is simple to erect – all thepoles are the same length, so no putting thewrong pole in the wrong place and like ourother tents, the inner tents have colourcoded suspension points to make fittingchild’s play.

Our largest tent yet. Its exteriordimensions are utilised to maximumadvantage to give a massive interior spacewithout wasted space. For a tent of itssize, the Tenby 10 is relatively easy to setup with clearly colour coded parts. Onceerected, the structure is very stable withplenty of supporting poles and peggingpoints. A large front canopy protects theentrance to the tent - an ideal place tokick off your shoes - and this leads directlyinto the cathedral like living area! Surelyenough space for any family or group. Thisspace can also be accessed through therear door and on hot days both doors canbe opened to provide ventilationthroughout the tent.

The bedrooms are either side of the livingarea and in contrast to the brightly lit livingarea, the SleepTite System keeps theirinteriors nicely subdued – ideal for anafternoon nap. Up to ten people cansleep comfortably or it is possible to eitherleave out individual inner tents or setdown and stow others depending uponyour needs. There is also an area set asidefor storage (it has a wardrobe bar forhanging clothes) or perhaps as a toiletarea. As with all Kampa tents, the Tenbycomes with a Sealed Groundsheet Systemto make sure that the weather and creepycrawlies stay outside.

Probably the finest six berth tent availabletoday. The Holkham 6 looks striking fromthe outside and provides the mostcomfortable living space inside. The flysheetis manufactured using our Weathershield®Airflow Classic Poly-Cotton. As well as beingextremely weather resistant, this fabric isalso breathable allowing the tent tobreathe, reducing condensation andinterior temperatures in hot weather yet itis warm in cool weather.

The Holkham 6 is very comfortable to livein; as well as the advantages of the fabric,the tent has a Daylight Panel, openingwindows and also benefits from a full built-in canopy and a side door with full flyscreen. The bedroom is also made inpoly-cotton and can be separated into tworooms with the dividing curtain and a largefloor to roof organiser gives loads of pocketstorage. The living area has an adjacent en-suite toilet or storage area and the wholefront panel can be rolled back to giveaccess to the large built-in canopy area; thiscan also be fitted with a Vestibule thatencloses the canopy.

All our experience wrapped up in, quitepossibly, the best tent on the market today.The Polzeath has flexible accommodationfor up to eight people with extravagantinterior living space to match. The 4 + 2 + 2inner tent configuration allows you to setup only those bedrooms you need for thatparticular trip – you can even take themdown during the day to expand the alreadyhuge living space. The interior feels spaciousdue to the generous headroom and thenatural light entering through the DaylightPanel. The large toilet/storage area is areally useful space and has its own privacydoor. The front panel, like many KampaUltimate tents, can either be rolled partly toone side to create a doorway or the wholepanel can be completely rolled away. This,along with the zip out windows and sidedoor, can create a real ‘alfresco’atmosphere on those hot summer days andthere’s no problem opening this front panelbecause it’s protected by the large built incanopy. New for this season is a Vestibulethat converts the canopy into a largeenclosed area. A great little tent, ideal for the weekend,festivals or any other event. Unusually, fora compact tent, the Minnis 4 has a SealedGroundsheet System to keep draughts andbugs at bay. The tent has a door either side,both of which have a secondary mesh door.Extra ventilation is provided by the vents ateither end. Inside there’s enough space forfour people to sleep in the two inner tentsthat face each other with the living areabetween. Both exterior doors have a largewindow with a blind for privacy.

A superb touring tent for three to fourpeople that, because of its generous size, isalso suitable for longer holidays. The livingarea has a generous 200 cm of headroomand a large front window making it a greatplace to live in and access is easy throughthe roll back side door or roll up frontpanel. The Perran has plenty of ventilationwith a large vent above the front door, roofvents and a rear vent – all closable. ThePerran is quick and easy to pitch with justthree colour coded poles and even theinner tent has colour coded suspensionpoints. As with all Kampa tents, theSaunton has a full sewn in groundsheet thatseals out the weather and any bugs. Thereare two doors, a roll up one at the frontand a roll back door on the side – bothproviding easy access and the front doorcan be converted into a canopy using thecanopy poles provided.

Inside, the living area is spacious with plentyof headroom and a great view out throughthe large front and side windows. Thebedroom has a dividing curtain that can bezipped closed to provide two separatecompartments and the inner tents haveuseful organiser pockets in the front wall.

An exceptionally versatile tent in which thefront panel can be moved backwards orforwards to create more interior livingspace, a front porch or removed completelyto create a huge open tent. You can alsoset the tent up without the front section -ideal for short weekend breaks or fortouring.

With the front panel in its rearward positionthere is still a good sized living area but withthe front panel in its forward position, theliving space is huge – large enough for all thefamily.

As well as the front door, there is also a rollback side door with a mesh secondary doorand a further roll up side door. Extraventilation can be provided by the ventsabove the side windows. If you’re looking for a tent with loads offeatures then look no further than theCroyde 6. It’s packed with ideas to makeyour holiday as enjoyable as possible. Thetent has the Kampa Sealed GroundsheetSystem (SGS) to keep the weather andbugs out and the warmth in. Inside you’llfind a large inner tent that, if required, canbe divided into two bedrooms by usingthe zipped privacy curtain. This inner tenthas loads of storage, both in the interiorpockets and also in the organiser builtinto the front.

The upright front wall allows full use of allthe interior space and you’ll appreciatethe generous headroom that gives andimpression of space. The front of the tentis protected by the large built-in suncanopy that you can shade under onthose sunny days and as it’s an integralpart of the tent it is more sturdy and lessfiddly to set up, unlike add-on canopies.If not required, or in stormy conditions, itcan simply be stowed away. A large eight berth tent offering extremelyversatile bedroom accommodation anduseable living space. Unlike some othersimilar tents, the Pendine 8 has a hybridsteel and fibreglass frame. The steel legsensure that the Pendine has upright wallsmaximising use of the interior floor areawhilst making the Pendine a very stable tent.Inside, the Pendine has a very flexiblebedroom arrangement – a four berthbedroom that can be divided using thezipped curtain – and two 2 berth innertents.
