he was young As a young boy he played the cello and piano, and he liked to write

and draw He was fascinated by buildings such as the Kremlin in Moscow Did not start painting until he was 30 When he was 30 he moved to Munich Germany Went to school there at Anton Azbe Before he was 30 he studied law for 10 years In the 1890’s in Moscow, he visited the French impressions museum,

which had a big impact on his art
