4. Accommodation IvyBanks – The guest house has 7 well appointed clean rooms with all facilities to ensure your stay is

comfortable. Both A/C and Non-A/C rooms are available and can be requested at the time of

reservation. All rooms are provided with en suite facilities. A total of 16 guests can be accommodated

with extra bedding in the rooms.

Although situated so close to the city the rooms offer a quite recluse where you could relax and recoup

after the adventures of the day. The rooms are spacious airy and maintained to a high level of

cleanliness. Linen is provided if necessary.

The bathrooms too are fitted with all modern amenities and well maintained.

The common areas are ideal to sit back and unwind. For the bookworm we have a good selection of

books and magazines to immerse in. For the techie free Wi-Fi is available. There is also a television with

a wide variety of satellite channels to keep you entertained.

IvyBanks Aniwatte –

The guest house consists of 5 well appointed spacious rooms with en suite facilities. A total of 14 guests

can be accommodated with extra bedding. The accommodation is available in two closely located guest

houses.

Clean spacious room with all amenities to ensure your stay with us is comfortable. Linen is provided.

Every morning you can hear the many varieties of birds chirping away from your window every morning.

The bathrooms are fitted with modern amenities and hygienically maintained.

The common areas are comfortably laid to allow you to relax after a long day. A TV with satellite

channels will keep you amply entertained. Or if you are the reading type you can curl up on one of the

numerous chairs and immerse yourself in adventure or romance.

Reservations will only be confirmed by Kandy Stays on receipt of a 25% advance payment. Payment can

be made by depositing directly into Kandy Stay’s Bank Account or handing over cash or cheque to our

Booking Manager stationed in Colombo.

Culture, traditions, life and it's people. The “Kandy Perahera” or procession held in the month of

August, is arguably Sri Lanka’s best show case festival. The festival dates back to the 4th century

AD, when the Tooth Relic of the Buddha was brought to the island in the reign of Kirti Sri

Meghavanna. He decreed that an annual perahera be held in honour of the Sacred Relic.

The left upper canine tooth of the Lord Buddha is currently housed at the stunning 17th-century
