Dynamic Mvedia (DM) is a digital media firm that caters to the Austin, TX live music scene. With Austin being the, "live music capital of the world," DM embraces the community that supports them by incorporating some of Austin's favorite spots into the office. The famous Zilker Park acts as a gathering and recreational spot while the sixth street restaurant and bar district is portrayed in the office cafe. A portion of the large roof even acts as an outdoor concert venue similar to the music festivals setup in the park. This openness to the music and Austin community creates opportunities to host local artists, musicians, and even big name performers at South by Southwest, Austin City Limits or any of the other music festivals. The openness of the office provides a welcoming feeling to the locals within the firm.

This project was a high-end accessory store for the company "Synergy," which I named and branded myself. The design represents free flowing motion through circulation and banded curved surfaces. Synergy is known for always moving forward, thus being on the forefront of fashion.

La Reyna Coffee Cooperative was a project to design the "Big House" on a coffee plantation in Nicaragua. The house acts as a place to stay for eco-tourists to visit and work completely "off-the-grid." This house acts as a place for two cultures to come together and learn from each other.

HEALTHCAREFALL 2013The Flint Hills Mental Rehabilitation Clinic will be a center that instantly welcomes soldiers and makes them feel at ease with their situation. This health center will be a place that will break down the stigma of mental health in the military; by focusing on honoring the soldiers and thanking them for their sacrifices. Help begins as soon as you cross the threshold. The general concept behind the design is threshold each threshold represents the challenges the soldiers must overcome upon their return home in able to assimilate back into civilian life. This project was completed as a part of a capstone studio.

During my fourth year I spent a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. While there I was surrounded by a new and different culture as well as amazing, timeless design. I also had great opportunities to interact with Danes such as my host parents, teammates on my soccer team, and insightful new professors.
