STAGE/SCENERY - The stage should be clean and empty, except the necessary material, at arrival of our crew. - The scenery might be built partly over the orchestra pit. - We ask for a wooden stage, if concrete flooring we require a sprung floor. Always inform us before selling seats in the orchestra pit or proscenium. Some seats might have to be blocked for sight line reasons.
Theatre provides:
o Complete black masking (legs and borders) as discussed or as indicated on plan. Because of the structure of the set, a part of the legs and borders need to be rigged at first.
o 36 x 15kg counterweights for panels and set.
o 3 stage-risers of 20 cm exactly (100 cm x 200 cm).
We would like some sort of curtain-opening, preferably a front curtain, but if not present also a fire curtain might work.
We would like: o 2 costume stands of approx. 2 m wide o 2 tables for props of approx. 2 m wide and 50 cm deep o 12 chairs for actors and dancers
Because almost at the end of the show there will be some 5 litres of water, and some fake blood, we ask for enough cleaning gear to be present by the end of the show. A water-vacuum cleaner is even more handy, if you were to have one.

SET Peeping Tom is proud to present, in order of appearance Peeping Tom provides:
1. Black foam 9 rolls of 12 meter foam sheet 1,6 m wide (10 mm) dance-marley tape to be provided by theatre. 1 roll is more than sufficient.
2. Painted dance-marley which is fire-retardant. Certificate can be provided if necessary.
These will be assembled together with a velcro system.
3. Together with light we will also rig the light-ceiling rigged with integrated led-lighting.
Preferably this will be with 5 chain-hoists. We bring all certified steels to be able to rig these. These are the parts P1 and P2 and can be disassembled in pieces of max 4 m. P1 needs three pick-up points, P2 two pick-up points. Dimensions: height 70 cm, depth 35 cm. Weight in total ca 300 kg. For this we will also need a power supply and DMX 5-pin.
4. After these our walls will be mounted on the floor and then we put/walk them up.
And will be weighed down with the counter-weights. The maximum height of the walls are max. 420 cm high (C5). Walls J1, C1, C2 are 4 00 cm high, all the rest is lower.

Risk assessment All the set-elements in wood have been primarily painted with Frescolithe paints. For our dance-carpet we have the necessary certificates concerning being flame-retardant. We have a curtain hanging on stage-left, bought with showtex. Also for this we have the certificates. After 1 hour in the show, a bucket with water will be poured on stage, in which one of our dancers will slide. In this place we will place a plastic under our dance-carpet to protect theatre-flooring. Near this place we have a coffee-machine with some built-in lights. We bring an earth wire, which we will have to attach to the electric circuit of the house. On stage-left we also have a plastic hanging on our set (dim: 2,5 m high, 5 m wide). This one is not fire-proof, but no lights are near this one. Also we will only hang it 15 minutes before doors open, and this will be taken off during the show, after 5 minutes far in the show, and will be stored after this moment. We use some strobe-lighting from a moving-light for about 1 minute during the show. One of our dancers is pretending to light a cigarette.

LIGHT
Because of the structure of the set, light has to be rigged at first. It is possible that some light fixtures have to be installed in the audience part of the theatre! Some seats might have to be blocked for sight line reasons.
Peeping Tom provides: o 1 PC-laptop with grandMA on PC + spare laptop o 1 grandMA dmx-node o light-ceiling as described above with built-in led-strips (needs 5-pin dmx and power) o We have two led-strips which will need some dmx, on stage-right. o All parcans you see behind panels in the lighting-plot will be rigged on our set which is
equipped with alu tubes. We bring two cable-looms with shuko plugs with us, to make this easier.
Theatre provides:
A lighting system meeting the attached requirements has to be provided at no cost to the company. The light system is a vital part of Peeping Tom’s stage design and cannot be altered in any way without prior written consent of the Company’s representative.
o All colour gels as indicated on plan. o The necessary floor-stands, stands and booms. o The necessary safety cables to secure a clean and safe hook up. o All the necessary power- and dmx-cables, power-supply and dimmers . o A clean DMX-512 connection. o All our equipment is wired with European SHUCKO 16A plugs except when explicitly
stated. For any other local plug, the theatre must provide the necessary amount of converters from the local standard to SHUCKO.
Or alternative with the following tech specs Power: 1200 watt, zoom: 55/60 degrees, frost and CTO filters, four blade- framingsystem. Robe BMFL Blade might be an alternative. Please contact in case of any doubt.

TRANSPORT Trucking dimensions: length 15m long, height 3,5m
- Our truck will always try to come the evening prior to set-up, to avoid unnecessary delay
getting stuck in morning traffic. So please keep us posted on whether it’s possible to park truck on loading dock. If not, please provide a safe parking of charge of theatre.
- Theatre provides a safe secure and free of charge parking place for our truck from the day before setup to the day after strike.
- Please let us know if the address of loading dock is different to the one of the theatre, or send us some instructions in case of difficulties for our truck. If there are certain restrictions in your country regarding to driving during week-ends, thanks for lettings us know and providing us with either a permit or extra hotel lodging for our driver, if necessary.
SURTITLES The performance is in English. If you’d like to include surtitles, we can send you the English text so a translation can be made. We ask for someone to be present during the performances to take care of the surtitles. We prefer working with a ledstrip (300x50cm). For other technical details/questions, please check with our technical director. All related costs have to be dealt by the Theatre.
PEEPING TOM 010117 technical rider “MOEDER” 11
EXTRAS (FIGURANTS) - Little girl
We ask for 1 girl between 7-9 years old as an extra: with a maximum height of 130 cm, preferably with a little acting or performing experience, although an amateur is also perfect. It is important to be able to work with the same person for every performance, or at least 2 performances in a row. During all performance days, the extra should be offered a meal. We ask for an adult person responsible for the child before, during and after the rehearsals and the performance(s). This person will also take care of the translation where needed (if the language is different than English or French).
All possible authorizations, related costs and/or remunerations have to be dealt by the Theatre. The Company would appreciate if the Theatre could provide 1 complementary ticket for each extra.
- Five extras
We also need 5 elderly extras of of 65+ and mixed gender. (repartition indifferent ) If possible the same as in Vader (aged 65+ years) for dramaturgical reason. o The male extras have to bring: classic dark shoes, dark pants (not black, no jeans), dark
coloured shirt and jacket (not black). o The female extras have to bring: classic dark shoes (no thin/high heels), dark pants (not
black, no jeans). If they wish they can bring their own costume, but we also have dresses/skirts and blouses at the disposal. The costume style should be of the 70ies, in the mood of a museum’s visit on a Sunday morning.
All possible authorizations, related costs and/or remunerations have to be dealt by the Theatre. The Company would appreciate if the Theatre could provide 1 complementary ticket for each extra.
Here is an example of the elderly couple at the premiere in Ludwigshafen:
Rehearsal with the extras: the rehearsal will take place the day of the 1st performance according to the country-specific child’s regulation about working hours. A detailed planning will be communicated in advance. Please contact our tour manager Lulu Tikovsky ([email protected]) for any questions regarding the extras.

day, including set-up (performers can’t really eat before the show, but need enough power). Preferably we would like to have ORGANIC products in an effort to a healthier diet and environmentally conscious attitude. - MOEDER is a dance performance that needs a warm comfortable temperature for all
rehearsals and shows: 22/23 degrees Celsius is perfect! - Light and sound-desk should be next to each other and NOT in separate operation booths. DRESSING ROOMS Properly heated, clean and secure dressing rooms are needed for dancers and crew. Minimum number of dressing rooms: 4 (+ 1 dressing room for the figurant) Ideal Number of dressing rooms: 8 (+ 1 dressing rooms for the figurant) If possible, one dressing room close to the stage for one of our elderly performers. Our dancers always take a shower after the show. Please provide bath-towels in the dressing rooms for every performance (16 big towels per performance/evening). COSTUMES A wardrobe/costumiere is requested. We’ll arrive with dirty costumes. We ask for a costume responsible to be there at the 1st set-up day around 10:00 to receive the costumes. These will need to be washed/ironed and some costumes will need to go to the dry-cleaning on the 1st set-up day (attention when on weekends!) and ready at 12:00 the day of the first performance (in case of the performance being at the earliest at 19:30). After the first show (& performances after), costumes must be washed/ironed again (no need for dry-cleaning) and ready by 14:00 for the second performance (in case of the performance being at the earliest at 19:30). After the last performance, we take dirty costumes with us (unless foreseen otherwise). All costs regarding the costumes are to be paid by the theatre/festival, also the costs for dry-cleaning.
