The divergence of communication channels has
eroded the effectiveness of many traditional
communication tools. I leverage online advoca-
cy tools that deliver messages across different
channels using social media to promote a key
message, encourage action and build commu-
nity amongst members.
HTML, CSS, WordPress, MySQL, CRM Platforms, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Dreamweav-
er, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, OSX, iOS, Windows, Microsoft Office.
Online engagement, web design, search engine optimization, email marketing, social
media administration, video production, strategic digital campaigns, training devel-
opment, graphics for web and email, technical / online support.
“One of the main reasons I miss working for SEIU Local 1000 was the ability to
work with Kelli. I consider myself lucky to have worked by her side. I still call her
when I need a second opinion on new media projects and she is always happy to
point me in the right direction.

O ONLINE ENGAGEMENT
Using creative online campaigns and strategies to engage
members, increase visibility, shift attitudes,
take online actions and create change.
EDD RallyCampaign: Renew Federal Unemployment Insurance
Tell Congress: Put America Back to Work
Working in conjunction with EDD field reps and partnering with the AFL-CIO, we successfully launched an online campaign urging Congress to extend Federal Unemployment In-surance. Targeting 7,482 EDD mem-bers with email, over 1,200 members
wrote their Congress person online. Out of those 1,200+ members, we were able to identify and sign up 86 members to volunteer for future ac-tions.

During the successful field rally- Put America Back to Work, I set up and managed the online engagement booth. Helping participants contact their congressperson online, we were able to send over 306 action emails. Of those 300+ participants, I
signed up 192 volunteers for future actions.

“Kelli possesses solid online communications strategies which have enabled her
to engage members and increase Local 1000 visibility. She also has the analyti-
cal skills to diagnose problems and devise viable solutions. Her ability to remain
calm during stressful periods proves her ability to work well under pressure.

I launched version 3.0 of the Local 1000 website in December 2010. I was the project manager of the de-velopment process and also took on the more complex coding tasks.
I currently manage all aspects of the
Local 1000 website including train-ing and managing staff who post content and events on the website.

I was tasked to create a website un-der short notice which would host our National Workforce Network video content. I created a website utilizing Wordpress and integrated the Video Content Manager system into the back and front end. The mis-
sion of NWN was to connect middle class families and individuals, labor organizations and their allies who are confronting similar issues.

Social media enables organizations to create relationships and engage
with their constituents. This allows them to nurture their online com-
munities which, in fact creates, a viral marketing affect with little or no
effort.

DATA & ANALYTICS
Using Data & Analytics to get detailed information on members and
a whole understanding of who our members are to maximize conver-
sions while improving engagement and traffic.
D
Google AnalyticsSEIU Local 1000www.seiu1000.org
Utilizing Google Analytics I identified the resources our members search for within our website. I’ve taken these stats and applied them to the application and placement of such resources. I strive to attain a high returning visitor rate and have kept
our site at a medium of 60% return-ing visitors. I track campaign measurements and conversion rates by setting up seg-mented lists for accurate informa-tion.

DATA & ANALYTICS
Blue State DigitalCRM I use BSD as a online CRM for our
constituents. I create complex con-stituent records and custom dy-namic groupings for subsetting our constituents. I take pride in expand-ing email lists and keeping those constituents subscribed.
I started with an email list of barely 800 records and have amplified our list to 60,000+ records.
