Kenmont MicroSociety WE Campaign
Hunger affects people from all walks of life, including those you might not suspect. When we come together to collect food for people struggling
with hunger, we can ensure they have the resources to feed themselves and their families. By supporting WE Scare Hunger, you can contribute to your community and also raise awareness of the root causes of hunger.
Our food drive begins Monday, November 5th and concludes on Wednesday, November 14th.
Students received a grocery bag with a flyer attached where they can place their canned goods.

Our MicroSociety is in full swing! Our students are working on being critical thinkers, problem solvers, global collaborators, change makers, and directors
of their own learning. If you have never seen it in action, I invite you to come and visit us on MicroSociety Days! Our 2nd cycle days are
November 7th, 14th and 28th from 8:30-10:00. Come experience it first hand and see these wonderful students incorporating real life skills as they work
at their ventures!

Thanksgiving Unity Fest We will be having our Thanksgiving Luncheon for all our students on
Friday, November 16th.
We will be serving turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, roll and dessert. If your child would like to purchase a plate, please send $5.00 to give to the
teacher by Friday, November 9th.
If you are bringing your child lunch, please deliver by 11:00am. *Hot lunch will not be provided on this day*
