Turf Sporting fieldsTRC manages a significant number of sporting fields within the LGA. These facilities vary significantly in theinfrastructure provided, quality of the playing surface and the level of competition played. In an effort to providea fee structure that reflects the range and quality of facilities provided, TRC classifies its sporting fields into fourTiers as detailed below with their respective classification standards.

Includes Council managed sports fields in Tamworth and Manilla.

There are a number of sports fields where lighting is adequate for training and competition. These lights arepredominately used by winter sporting codes, therefore costs relating to the delivery of lighting services are to beat the users expense.

Lighting fees (per hour)

User groups are provided with codes to switch lights on and off and these codes provide TRC with accurate usagedata. TRC’s sports facilities have varying quality of lights and users will be charged for their exact usage per facility.

Fees have been added for new lighting installed at Gipps Street Park and Chaffey Park, Manilla.
