Risks and Challenges
1. How will the social media companies feel about us bypassing their ads and sites in order to filter the user's social media?
2. Project Timing-Starting in the first Quarter of the 2014 3. No IT Start-up experience 4. Technical challenges-no Technical Expertise-IOS7 5. Resource constraints 6. Meeting the 60 day project time
Risks and Challenges R esponse
1. We would imagine that social media sites may not be so happy with Streamer allowing users to bypass their website directly. Strategically, we will try to extract and process social media data on our end (either server or application end). You know what? Being the underdog or have encompassing goal is not new to the Co-Founders. But, we will do our best to be diplomatic and sensitive to all stakeholders. At the same time, however, we march to our core business objective to allow users to do what they want with their social media data.
2. New Year and launch of new product-best way to go. 3. Having all the experience in the world doesn’t matter if you do not have the
fresh innovative idea, or the organization and drive to implement it. We are open to be mentored by an experience and successful IT Startup guru who wants to provide helpful advice or mentoring
4. We are currently working to source an IOS7 Developer. 5. With any good project, there are always going to be resource constraint.
The best remedy is time management and planning ahead. You will be surprised with what you can do accomplish by spending 5-30 minutes a day. Start tasks 2-3 weeks early will help with this problem.
6. Meeting the 60 day time line. Using the SCRUM methodology will increase our chances of meeting the deadline. Having some project experience of some large scale projects in waterfall methodology gives us the confidence of delivering it through SCRUM.
