PROJECTSUMMARY

The goal of the GROUP is to became Kiev one of the most important polo center around the world.

This project consist in the construction of a unique international polo club with polo fields, stables, other equiestran sports activities, stadium, club houses, hotel, restaurants, shops, leisure, and residential property development project in 150 ha. in the Kiev city. The idea is to adapt the most successful model of polo clubs in the world to the tastes and needs of Kiev.

The plans for the club include the development of large luxury ‘manor’ homes - the best of which will overlook the polo fields and provide owners with automatic membership to the Polo club.

In the future, the idea of the GROUP is to replicate the best models creating, developing and managing polo clubs in different Ukraine´s cities and regions to install this great sport. All the polo clubs will count with the best international experience, applied for their design and construction, as well as their administration and conduction.

The GROUP will provide all the products and services related with the sport, horses and equipment, as well as the professionals that will sustain the clubs: players, grooms, instructors, veterinarians.

Kiev International Polo Club, would be staffed by professional polo players, and equipped with the latest training aids and a large choice of well schooled ponies to improve player handicaps.

a. Polo Fields and Stadiums

The project includes the construction of 4 polo fields and two of them with stadium and an indoor arena for daily instructional chukkas for those wishing to improve their game. The stadiums will have restaurants and shops. A Polo Academy to further encourage and develop the growth of the sport amongst the local population and provide enthusiasts from all over the world an opportunity to participate in the sport on the Kiev International Polo Club.

About de Polo Fields

During the planning of a polo field’s construction, there are several aspects to consider.

The polo game will develop on the land, fundamental element for the horse’s stability. A grass carpet must grow on this land, that allows an appropriate rolling for the ball. This two elements, land and grass, are achieved by the suitable construction of the field.

To obtain a secure and suitable surface, to avoid injuries both for the horses and the players, depends on the fulfillment of several technical points.

A field that is not built the right way from the beginning will never be a high level field.

There are several factors to consider in order building a high standard polo field. The selection of the land, according to its location respecting the sun, the quality of the earth, the leveling regarding the water drain, the chosen topsoil, the quality of the irrigation water, the kind of grass, are some of the aspects to consider.

An appropriate leveling regarding the existing surface to plough will determine the polo field model to carry out. The proportion of sand to add in the field will be defined by its natural soil. The quality of the water will let us know the possibilities of irrigation. The selection of grass is a very important premise, given that the game will vary according to this matter; All this aspects must be included in a meticulous plan, given that the times are not variable.

b. Stables

The project includes the construction of 600 stables, all staffed by professional polo players and show jumpers.

The must have the space necessary for enough amount of boxes, a saddle holder, a deposit, a veterinary and a groom house.

The diagram to develop in a way that each player can take two modules and program based to his needs.

Every one side of the unit should count with a veterinary, 2 deposits and a bathing room that points to the exterior. On the remaining rooms, there’s a saddle deposit and a house for the grooms.

c. Club House

The GROUP planned to have two club houses, one for the equestrian and one for the Polo Community.

The exclusive design of the club houses must match in style the top-level standards.

The elegant construction could rise up to three floors to obtain a unique view of the game.

These buildings must offer all kinds of services and comfort, making them an excellent choice for meetings after the match.

These installations should be located on an ideal spots of the land, with great views and rapid access, along with an excellent distribution (restaurants, bar, hall, gym, saunas, pools, etc).

d. Hotel and Residences

The project include the construction of a five-star hotel and residences, operated by one of the best hotel group in the world.

The Group was planned as a five star, 80 Suite Boutique Hotel incorporating three restaurants - and a spa retreat.

The management team’s intension, purpose, and commitment is to create a unique lifetime experience in all guests and residents who discover the magnificence of this international polo club of the future.

The design theme is a blend of colonial Georgian and regency reproduction – that would be entirely appropriate to an equestrian sports resort and residential development project.
