Lent Discipleship Group: Small Things with Great Love, by Margot

Starbuck. Here it is! A book that gives Christians extremely practical

suggestions on how to love their neighbors even in the midst of busy

lives. Join us as we read through this book and challenge each other

to find new ways of being Salt and Light in the world. If you’ve been

looking for tangible ways to live out your faith and you want some

discussion and accountability for that journey—

then join us for the 6 Sundays in Lent. Sign-up is

at the Welcome Desk. You can order the book

online or purchase one ($11 each) from the

    church office.

    Date: March 5 - April 9

    Time: 11:00 am

    Place: Lounge

Want to talk about digital media with your kids, but don’t know how?

Mike Lamson will be facilitating a class for both parents and kids/

students starting March 5 and going through Lent. We will discuss the

book Right Click: Parenting Your Teenager in a Digital Media World. The

book walks through establishing healthy media habits, and also seeing

how kids and teens see our digital world. This also gives kids and

students (digital natives) an opportunity to educate parents (digital

immigrants) on the digital world. A $15 donation is suggested for each

copy of the book. Sign-up will be at

the Welcome Center all this month.

This is a class for BOTH parents and kids.

In response to a growing movement we sense at Calvary of women seeking connection that is real, vulnerable, and deep, we invite you to join us for our kick-off Women’s Ministry event: A classy dinner with the friends you already know and the ones you’re about to meet. Mark your calendar for Friday, March 24th and stay tuned for upcoming details.
