October 30, 2017 Greetings Directors! We would like to thank you for choosing to attend the 2017 Kingdom of the Sun Marching Band Festival. We hope you’ll find this both an educational and enjoyable experience for your students, parents and staff. When you arrive on our campus, you will receive a white envelope with all badges (Directors) and wristbands (for students, staff & chaperones). If you need additional wristbands, they may be purchased for $7/each from one of our event staff members or at the ticket gate. No one will be permitted to enter any gate without a wristband or the proper credentials. A band guide will be assigned to you for the day of the show and will be responsible for escorting you to your warm-up, stadium performance and back to your bus. They are prepared to assist you with any questions or needs that you may have. Please remember these are our student volunteers. Please treat them with dignity and respect as you would want your own students treated. Enclosed in this packet is information for your review, which includes information sheets, maps, etc. A schedule of events is also included for your reference. Should you encounter any difficulties, please ask your guide to contact one of us personally. We will do whatever we can to make your day a pleasant and positive experience. See you soon! Warm-Up Sites: Please direct any questions to your band guides. Each band is assigned to one of our three warm up sites. Please arrive at your site five minutes before your designated warm up time. Please coordinate your watches with our time. Please have your brass instruments face away from the stadium so we can limit sound bleeding into another bands performance.
