+ Know the Number:
A Campaign + App Proposal for La Casa de las Madres
Domestic violence and abusive relationships can happen to anyone, and affect everyone.
Together, we can change the conversation.
Know the Number.
Why? • Awareness of verbal abuse as violence • It is unsafe for many experiencing
domestic violence to save/use the hotline due to partner suspicion
• The campaign: make the hotline a normal entry in every single phone
How? • Spread through stickers + online
pledge to save and share the hotline • Increase public/friend’s ability to
recognize abusive relationships • Change the conversation: Safety
through ubiquity
The Campaign: Stickers
The Campaign: Pledge Web App
Prototype: bit.ly/knowthenumber1
