This document outlines the steps to develop a Talent Profile in Workday. After reading this, you will be able to import your LinkedIn profile into your Professional Profile tab and take the remaining steps necessary to complete your Talent Profile. Part 1: Update Your Professional Profile Follow the steps below to update your Professional Profile within Workday to import information from your LinkedIn profile. This document outlines the steps to develop a Talent Profile in Workday. After reading this, you will be able to import your LinkedIn profile into your Professional Profile tab and take the remaining steps necessary to complete your Talent Profile.

Part 1: Update Your Professional Profile

Follow the steps below to update your Professional Profile within Workday to import information from your LinkedIn profile.

Note: If you currently do not have a LinkedIn profile, create a profile before continuing with the steps below or follow the steps on page 9 to create a profile manually.

1. From the Workday Home Screen, click your name in the top right corner.

2. Click View Profile.

3. Click Professional Profile.

4. Click Import from LinkedIn.

5. Enter your LinkedIn password.

6. Click Allow Access.

7. Workday will import all skills listed on your LinkedIn profile. Click Next.

8. Workday will import all education listed on your LinkedIn profile. Click Next.

9. Workday will import all job history listed on your LinkedIn profile. Click Next.

10. Review all imported information in your profile and click Submit.

11. On the Details and Process screen, click Done.

12. To view your imported LinkedIn profile in Workday, repeat steps 1-3.

Part 2: Update Your Talent Profile

An action initiated by Human Resources will appear in your Workday inbox. Follow the steps below to update your Talent Profile:

1. Click the Profile icon next to your name.

2. Click Inbox.

3. All actions are listed on the left side of the screen. If there are multiple actions in your inbox, click Update Profile: 2015 SVP - VP Talent Profile.

4. With the correct actions highlighted (Update My Talent Profile), you will have two options.

If you choose Go to Guided Editor, each section will be on a separate screen.

If you choose Go to Summary Editor, all sections will be on one screen.

Note: Before continuing, review all information in Work Profile and Accomplishments and confirm it is correct. Update information as necessary.

IMPORTANT: If you did not import your LinkedIn profile or you do not have a LinkedIn profile you will need to follow the steps in the appendix to populate this information before continuing.

5. The High Impact Leadership Assessment screen opens. Complete steps 6-11 to assess each of the competencies listed.

6. For a description of the competency, click the Edit button .

7. Read the description and click Done.

8. Click the Assessed Rating prompt button .

9. Click the Assessed Rating prompt button .

10. Choose the option that applies.

11. The Assessed Rating box populates. Click Done.

12. After completing steps 6-11 for all competencies listed, you are finished with your portion. In the Comments field, enter comments as necessary and click Submit.

Your leader will complete the Performance & Talent portion.

13. Click Done.

You Can Also

It is recommended to update your LinkedIn profile prior to beginning the Talent Profile. If you have not done this, or if you do not have a LinkedIn profile please follow the steps below to manually enter you information. This needs to be completed prior to doing the High Impact Leadership Assessment.

1. Click on the Profile icon next to your name

2. Click on Inbox.

3. All actions are listed on the left side of the screen. If there are multiple actions in your inbox, click Update Profile: 2015 SVP – VP Talent Profile.

4. Click Go to Guided Editor.

5. Work Profile > Job Details opens. This will default to your current position as noted in the Workday system. Click Next.

6. Work Profile > Internal Job Profile opens. This will show history limited to the date in which data was loaded into Workday. Previous positions within the health system should be included in the external experience section. Click Next.

7. Work Profile > External Job History opens. To add external job history, click Add.

8. Add a Job Title. 9. Click on the prompt at the end of the Company field.

10. Type the name of the company associated with the job you are entering and press Enter.

Note: If it is not a recognized company you will need to click on the Create New box.

11. Click Done.

12. Click on the prompt at the end of the Start Date field. 13. Enter a Start Date and End Date. 14. Click Done.

Note: Follow steps 7-14 for all other external jobs you would like to add. 15. Add all external jobs to External Job History and click Next.

16. Accomplishments > Education opens. Add any additional educational information and click

Add.

17. Choose the appropriate Country. 18. Type in the name of the institution and press Enter. 19. Click Done.

20. Click on the prompt in the Degree field. Choose the appropriate degree. 21. Click on the prompt in the Field of Study field. Choose the appropriate field of study. 22. Enter the last year attended.

Note: Repeat steps 16-22 for all education you want to add.

23. Click Next.

24. Accomplishments > Training. To add any training activities or experiences that re relevant to your background and development click on Add.

25. Click on the drop down arrow. 26. Select a Training Type. 27. Enter the Training Name 28. Click Done.

29. Enter the Completed On date.

Note: Repeat steps 21-26 for all training you want to enter.

30. Click Next.

31. Accomplishments > Certifications. Add any relevant certifications here. Click Add, choose the Certification and Click Done.

32. Enter the Issued Date and the Expiration Date.

Note: Repeat steps 31 – 32 for all certifications you want to add.

33. Click Next.

34. Accomplishments > Awards opens. Click Add. 35. Enter the Award Name and the Awarding Body and click Done.

36. Enter the Date Received.

Note: Repeat this step for all awards you want to add.

37. Click Next.

38. To complete the process, follow the steps for completing the High Impact Leadership

Assessment section (Section 1, step 5).
