The Korea Women Inventors Association, established in 1993, has a principal focus on empowering women inventors and promoting their participation in creative business activities. We are now recognized as the most active organization for women inventors in Korea and as a pioneer that leads women inventors around the world.

Our mission is to "speak, work, and act for women inventors." We provide women inventors information and support to help promote creation of intellectual property. Our approach also addresses and solves issues and challenges that women face in the business world.

Women inventors bring social and economic change to communities by providing local and global solutions to everyday problems. By facilitating the exchange of ideas with a global network of like-minded inventors’ organizations, we strive to become an interactive gateway for a growing global community that links women inventors and consumers. We are committed to providing support for women inventors with an aim of helping them become inventors and patent holders who inspire, and helping them to grow into outstanding entrepreneurs.

We sincerely appreciate all the support and contributions by women inventors worldwide.

Korea International Women's Invention Forum

IP Wave for Creative Women Leaders

The Korea International Women's Invention Forum aims to form a global human network among women inventors and share future visions. We hold this forum annually to introduce success stories of women inventors and entrepreneurs in advancing into foreign markets, notable support policies at the national level, and support measures

We have jointly developed and operated educational programs on intellectual property rights along with WIPO, customized to women inventors and small- and medium-sized companies. The International Workshop for Women Inventors & Entrepreneurs offers three or four courses of ‘IP Panorama’, which is the educational program of WIPO; educations on intellectual property rights and creativity especially for women inventors and SMEs; introduction of success stories and business strategies of women inventors and entrepreneurs; and trainings for actual international business activities.
