Thermal Insulation : The frame and sash material is UPVC which is a non-conductor. It cuts the heat. Frame and sash are multi chamber. It cuts further heat. Tight gasket sealing helps in preventing leakage through the gap between frame and shutter. Multi-point locking ensures that the shutter and frame are locked and sealed properly

Gasket Material : TPE thermo plastic elastomer. These gaskets are weld able and more durable than EPDM. In addition they can be formulated of different stiffness in different areas of the cross-section. The part which goes into the profile is stiffer so that it cannot be pulled out easily. The part outside is softer so that it can offer compression and sealing.

Tropical Mix : All European and leading profile companies in India are supplying tropical mix but percentage of Titatanium Di-oxide levels are different based on their interpretation of Tropical climate conditions. Korex is supplying windows and doors with the same profile mix from South America to Australia, Middle East and India. We are not reducing TiO2 content for India as some parts of India have severe climatic conditions.

Why Korex?

Eco Friendly : Korex windows are 100% lead free. Korex uses only Ca.Zn stabilisers.

European Standards : Our windows are classified as Class B as per EN 12608 which means outer wall thickness is 2.5mm.

Artificial Weathering Test : Korex windows are subjected to impact test before and after artificial weathering and the reduction in impact strength is noted. They are exposed to 12KJ Xenon light for 6000 hours. After this they are tested for impact load. In our case the reduction in impact strength after 6000 hours exposure was less than 4%.

Is Korex expensive? : It is important to understand what the competition is offering. Korex window is manufactured as per EN 12608 under stringent quality control and has better compound - higher percentage of TiO2, wall thickness 2.5mm, multi- chamber, TPE gaskets, pre-inserted gaskets - weather strips and is imported. The basic difference in quality plus import duty makes it costlier by around 20%. It is also important to understand whether the competition has offered the 70 series or the 60. Whether the competition has considered the recommended wind load for that particular area. If all parameters are considered then price difference would be less.
