Location of South America

South America is located in the southern hemisphere. It is South of North America and west of Africa. Off it east coast is the Pacific ocean and off its west coast is the Atlantic Ocean

Occur in the mantle

Heat from the inner and outer core

Molten rock in the mantle to rise

Hot magma reaches the crust it moves outwards

Earth’s crust are dragged in that direction

Molten rock begins to cool and sink back down.
