    Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

    KIMBERLEY SITE SERVICES PTY LTD is committed to achieving the highest possible standard in occupational health, safety and environment.

    To ensure that this objective is achieved KIMBERLEY SITE SERVICES PTY LTD will:

    Meet and exceed any health safety and environmental standards set in legislation or required by the client.

    Integrate health, safety and environment into the business so that it is on an equal level with quality, cost and production.

    Provide and improve systems that identify, manage and eliminate hazards.

    Ensure management and supervision at every level provides leadership by constant promotion and use of safety and environmental systems.

    Provide appropriate training for each employee to enable them to identify and eliminate health, safety and environmental hazards.

    Encourage active participation of all employees in health, safety and environmental systems.

    Create a culture that encourages employees to maintain the highest safety and environmental standards.

    Donate to the local community through school, farming and council projects, the amount of trees per machine utilised by Kimberley Site Services in an effort to offset the carbon emissions generated by our projects.

    Drug and Alcohol Policy

    KIMBERLEY SITE SERVICES PTY LTD is committed to eliminating the impact of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

    The level set by the company for any employee in the workplace is:

    Alcohol = Zero percent. 0.00

    Drugs = Pass an Australian Standard test.

    To ensure that this objective is achieved KIMBERLEY SITE SERVICES PTY LTD will:

    Drug and Alcohol test all employees prior to employment.

    Ensure all new employees complete a statement acknowledging Tonys Plumbing and Excavation standards.

    Management and supervision continue to communicate the standard required via PSI and safety meetings.

    Support random drug and alcohol testing at the workplace.

    Provide and promote alcohol self testing prior to arriving at work.

    Encourage employees to remain at home if they are not fit for work.

    Terminate the employment contract of any employee that fails to meet the standard once they have been tested positive when attempting to enter or have entered the workplace.

    Statement of Kimberley Site Services Commitment to Promoting Indigenous Employment Opportunities

    Kimberley Site Services is committed to partner viable Joint Ventures which assist Indigenous People in maintaining a business which is sustainable and promotes the training of Indigenous people interested in earning an income from mining in areas in which they, their Elders, or Ancestors have, or had, a cultural affiliation with the land. The inherent nature of our services indicates our base of operations are likely to be in areas where consideration of indigenous cultural beliefs impact. Due to this continual involvement in the indigenous community throughout regional Western Australia, Kimberley Site Services has taken a pro-active approach in an effort to form strategic relationships with local indigenous populations. At all times, an Aboriginal Liaison and Training Officer will be employed to work in conjunction with management and staff to ensure that Kimberley Site Services operate in accordance with Government Policy and in the interests of Indigenous Peoples and their beliefs and cultural traditions. During the course of our business we will ensure that our training and work culture is such that it compliments and welcomes our indigenous employees into the workplace and focuses on preparing them for a safe and prosperous future and become a part of the Kimberley Site Services team. Moving forward, Kimberley Site Services is focused on championing indigenous business and employment ventures whereby the local communities can benefit from mining in their local area. Kimberley Site Services will continue to seek out viable partnerships with indigenous groups in an effort to provide and facilitate indigenous business, employment and training in the area of mining. Kimberley Site Services is however, continually bound by laws and client requirements and any identified opportunities must comply with all requirements placed upon our company.
