Extending our ministry beyond La Caramuca, Luz Maria alternated with LCMS missionary pastor Ted Krey of Maracay, in teaching confirmation classes at Cristo es Amor LutheranChurch. Cristo es Amor is located in Barquisimeto, a city about three hours north of Barinas, and at that time needed confirmation class instructors.
