Overview
The Purpose of the Contract Class Program (CCP) is to offer a workforcedevelopment opportunity for local artists and recreation, leisure, fitness,and educational instructors while simultaneously expanding the diversityof high-quality programs offered to our communities.
Opportunity to provide classes throughout Los Angeles County
Department to assist in marketing of classes
Department to handle all participant registration and collection of fees
Instructors will receive 60% of total fees collected
Benefits to Instructors
Increased views as classes are marketed to over 10 million residents County-wide
Class patrons can enroll in activities and complete their liability waiver forms online 24/7
Instructors have 24/7 access to portal to download class rosters and attendance sheets
We’ve created a website to keep all the information you will need in one place
We’re offering virtual training and onboarding to all instructors annually to cover details of handbook and agreement and cover topics such as writing successful proposals and tips to increase participation

Key Program Components
Instructor applies for a County Vendor #
Instructor will submit an Instructor Application yearly
Instructor will submit a Class Proposal for each class each season
Instructor chooses geographical area to teach in
Instructor sets fees, schedule, and desired attendance for program
Instructor may collect (pre-approved) supply/material fee
Department will provide Instructor access to Online Registration System to Print Rosters, Sign-In/Out Sheets/Waivers, etc.
Instructor will receive feedback from seasonal participant surveys
ActiveNet
Programs will be created and managed in ActiveNet by the Agency's Coordinator
Department will collect all participant registrations and fees
Instructors will have a portal to :
➢ View most recent rosters
➢ Print sign-in/out sheets
➢ Participant waivers
➢ Print Attendance
Notifications of enrollment and withdrawals from the class will be automatically emailed by the ActiveNet system to the instructor
➢ View and Print Bookings
➢ Email Participants
➢ Enter Attendance
➢ And more...
Marketing
LA County Parks and Recreation Public Information Team will lead marketing campaigns to help with recruitment of participants
Classes will be shared on Department social media
Opportunities to present class demonstrations at community events

We will schedule a phone interview with you by July 3rd
