LAB 3: CREATE.A.LINEAR.MOVIE:.PART.1:.Movie.Editing.
Before you begin:
Decide on a topic. The topic should specific enough to develop an idea, a theme or interest. The end product will be a 1‐3 minute long video that will have a specific beginning, middle and end. This video should not be a montage of different footage of the same thing, but rather a logical sequence of events. For instance: my topic is coffee. I find three source videos, one that shows a coffee plantation, one that shows the process of roasting coffee beans, and another that shows customers enjoying different kinds of coffee.
Create MEDIA folder on your desktop. (Finder View: File>New Folder. Click on folder once, and type MEDIA).
Download all source media. Browse YouTube or other downloadable videos and find at least three that reference a similar topic. Download each video as a Quicktime Movie.(m4v,.mov,.or.mp4).
