110 I think school has enough software on the normal software, but the open hours for the computer lab for designclasses is more helpful and should be larger because i saw there were some students don't have the software ontheir computers or they can't afford a better laptop. In my opinion, i think the computer lab should have more Macor larger room i guess for graphic design majors and other related major students, so they won't do it at the lastminute or maybe they can't finish their project and homework on time.

111 It isn't so much the software but the computer hardware needs to be a bit more robust beyond meeting minimumrequirements. They aren't running an i7 quad-core processor with a large amount of RAM and an SSD. So themost advanced computer users who do not shut down programs rather operate about 20 at once on 4 or 5kmultiple displays would easily burn out Mt. Sac's computer systems. More courses to develop proficiency in theprograms that Mt. Sac has would also be another great benefit to the students.

175 I would like programs from the animation classes to be in the computer labs. There aren't enough licenses for meso I had to use an older program to animate. It is unfair that the department did not buy enough licenses eventhough 9 weeks have passed. I can't find the older program in the computer labs so now I have trouble doing myprojects. When I brought it up with the instructor he assured me that they would install the necessary program inthe computer labs but I have checked every week and I cannot find it.

340 I think the current setup is sufficient for the current coursework, if we spent more money on more extravagantsoftware or technology it would not be utilized to the extent that would be required to justify the amount of moneyit would probably cost. Having modest tools encourages a higher educational drive and weeds out those that arenot committed to acquiring marketable skills which is a problem that plagues many community colleges in thiscountry.

695 It would be great if some of the drafting software was available in the lab. This includes AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, andFormZ. I realize that licenses for those programs may be cost prohibitive, but having at least one of the abovemight be helpful for those of us that use the software. This is because not all of the architecture labs are openafter classes.
