LACF Fosters & Celebrates Volunteerism!• Hundreds of residents learned how to give back at LACF’s first Volunteer Fair.

• 110 local nonprofits featured in LACF’s new online Nonprofit Directory. • The community honored 19 local volunteers at LACF’s 2018 Gardner Awards.

• Block Action Team (BAT) In partnership with the City of Los Altos, involves 1,500 households.

• Leadership Education Advancement (LEAD) 450 program graduates since 1995; many now involved in local civic, school, and nonprofit leadership roles.

• E3 Youth Philanthropy Named 2018 Outstanding Philanthropic Youth Organization by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Silicon Valley Chapter).

Addressing Community Needs Through Grants & ScholarshipsLACF, its funds and programs gave $1.1 million in grants and scholarships to over 72 organizations serving Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and Mountain View, and

scholarships to 148 local students. These grants addressed the needs of those most vulnerable in our community and helped youth succeed in school.
