Teachers will use strategies learned through Professional Development training in the following
content areas:
1. Students’ will practice and learn strategies and skills to solve mathematics problems, without the use
of a calculator. Growing standardized test scores (7-10%) annually.
2. Students’ will learn mathematics skills that incorporate SAT style practice questions with
distracter elimination skills along with practice and mastery of graphing calculators and breaking down
text within the question. Growing standardized test scores (7-10%) annually.
3. Students’ will learn how to Write in a manner that allows them to express judgments, develop a
position, while focusing on their topic and maintaining effective use of language skills. Growing
standardized test scores (7-10%) annually.
4. Students will learn to interpret and analyze text using CAW (Claim, Evidence, Warrant) The skills
developed through practice will provide our students growth necessary to increase standardized test
scores (7-10%) annually.
