This supplication in two parts was composed by the son of the tertön,Choktrul Rinpoche, at the command of his elder brother, the holder of theDharma and family lineages, the sublime Samten Gyatso Namkha Drimé.Later, it was supplemented by Kyabjé Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. འག་མན་ཆས་ཀ་དབངས་ཀ་ཕ་བང་ནས། །

okmin chö kyi ying kyi phodrang néFrom the dharmadhātu palace of Akaniṣṭha,དས་གསམ་སངས་རས་ཀན་ག་ང་བ་ཉད། །

Practice, Dispeller Of All Obstacles

I. The Preparationསབས་འག་ན།

A. REFUGE AND BODHICITTA རང་ག་སང་གའ་ས་བན་ལས་འད་ཟར་འཕས་པས་བ་མ་རག་འཛན་ས་འཕལ་ད་བ་ཆན་པའ་དཀལ་འཁར་ག་ལ་ཚགས་མདན་ག་ནམ་མཁར་བཛ་ས་མ་ཛཿ

rang gi nying ké sabön lé özer tröpé lama rikdzin gyutrül drawa chenpö kyilkhor gyi lhatsok dün gyi namkhar benza samadza༔Rays of light shine forth from the seed syllable in my heart center and invite the assembly of mandala deities of the great illusory netof vidyādhara gurus into the sky before me—vajra-samājah༔ཞས་སབས་ཡལ་མཁའ་ཁབ་ཏ་སད་པའ་སན་སར།

Before the objects of refuge who fill the reaches of space, recite three times:

ན་མ༔ བདག་དང་མཁའ་མཉམ་སམས་ཅན་མ་ལས་ཀན༔

namo ༔ dak dang khanyam semchen malü kün༔Namo ༔ I and all beings as infinite as space༔སབས་ཀ་མཆག་གར་རམས་ལ་སབས་ས་མཆ༔

kyap kyi chokgyur nam la kyap su chi༔take refuge in the supreme sources of refuge.༔

སན་དང་འཇག་པའ་བང་ཆབ་སམས་བསད་ནས༔

mön dang jukpé jangchup semkyé né༔Rousing the bodhicitta of aspiration and application,༔ས་གསམ་བ་མའ་ག་འཕང་བསབ་པར་བག༔

ku sum lamé gopang drupar gyi༔I will accomplish the level of the three-kāya guru.༔ལན་གསམ།

ཛཿཧ་བ་ཧཿ སབས་ཡལ་རམས་རང་ལ་ཐམ།

dzah hum bam ho, kyap yül nam rangla timJaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ—The objects of refuge dissolve into me.

གཉས་པ་བགགས་ཚགས་མཚམས་གཅད་པ་ལ་གཉས།

B. EXPELLING THE HOSTS OF OBSTACLE MAKERS AND SETTING THE BOUNDARY བས་རག་བསད་པ་དང༌། མཚམས་བཅད་པའ། །

Here there are two subdivisions: (1) expelling poverty spirits (seraks) and(2) setting the boundary.

དང་པ་ན།

1. Expelling Seraksརང་ཉད་ཁ་བའ་རལ་པ་ས་བ་བརགས་པའ་སར་གར་པར་བསམ་ལ།

rangnyi trowö gyelpo mewa tsekpé kur gyurI become the King of Wrath, Ucchuṣma.

ཨ་ཨ་ཙཥ་ཀ་ད་ཧ་ཧ་ཕཊ༔

om utsukma krodha hum hum pé༔om ucchuṣma krodha hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ༔

ཨ་བར་ཀ་མ་ཧ་པ་ན་ཡ་བར་ཙ་བར་བ་མ་ལ་ཨ་ཙཥ་ཀ་ད་ར་ཛ་ཧ་ཕཊ༔

om bhur kum mahapranayé bhurtsi bhuki bimaléutsukma krodha radza hum pé༔

oṃ bhurkuṃ mahāprāṇāye bhurci bhurki vimale ucchuṣmakrodharāja hūṃ phaṭ༔

ཅས་བཟ། ཁས་ཆ་ལ་དམགས་ཏ།

Recite that. Focusing on the ablution water, recite:

ཨ་ཨ་ཧ་ཤད་ཤད༔

om é ho shuddhé shuddhé༔oṃ e ho śuddhe śuddhe༔

ཡ་ཧ་ཤད་ཤད༔

yam ho shuddhé shuddhé༔yaṃ ho śuddhe śuddhe༔

བ་ཧ་ཤད་ཤད༔

bam ho shuddhé shuddhé༔baṃ ho śuddhe śuddhe༔

ལ་ཧ་ཤད་ཤད༔

lam ho shuddhé shuddhé༔laṃ ho śuddhe śuddhe༔

ཨ་ཡ་བ་ར་ལ་ཤད་ཨ་ཨ་ས་ཧ༔

é yam ram bam lam shuddhé a a soha༔e yaṃ raṃ baṃ laṃ śuddhe a a svāhā༔

ཞས་བཟས་ལ་ཁས་ཆ་དང་ར་ཐན་ལ་ཕས་བཏབ། ཡས་རམས་ཆང་སར་གས་བན་ལ། སགས་དག་ཕག་དག་དང༌།

Then blow on the ablution water and hexed stones. Sprinkle the ransomeffigy with bitter beer and milk. Chant the six mantras and the six mudras:

ཨ་ས་བ་ཝ་ཤད་སར་དར་ས་བ་ཝ་ཤད྅་ཧ

om sobhava shuddha sarva dharma sobhava shuddhohhang

oṃ svabhāva śuddhāḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho’haṃ

ཨ་ན་མཿསར་ཏ་ཐ་ག་ཏ་བཿབ་ཤ་མ་ཁ་བཿསར་ཐ་ཁ་ཨཏ་ཏ་ས་ར་ཎ་ཨ་མ་ག་ག་ན་ཁ་ས་ཧ།

om namah sarva tathagaté bhayo bisho mukhebhyasarva tekam utgate saparana imam gagana kham soha

oṃ namaḥ sarva-tathāgatebhyo viśva-mukhebhyah sarvathā khaṃudgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ svāhā

ཨ་བཛ་ཨ་མ་ཏ་ཀཎ་ལ་ཧ་ན་ཧ་ན་ཧ་ཕཊ།

om benza amrita kundali hana hana hum phéoṃ vajrāmṛta-kuṇḍalī hana hana hūṃ phaṭ

ཨ་ན་མཿསར་ཏ་ཐ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་ཝ་ལ་ཀ་ཏ། ཨ་སམ་ར་སམ་ར་ཧ།

om nama sarva tathagata avalokité, om sambharasambhara hum

oṃ namaḥ sarva-tathāgatāvalokite | oṃ sambhāra sambhāra hūṃ

om gyana avalokité, nama samanta saparana,rasmibhava samaya maha mani, duru duru, hridaya

dzolani humoṃ jñānāvalokite | namaḥ samanta spharaṇa | rasmi bhava

samaya mahā maṇi | duru duru | hṛdaya jvālani hūṃ

ན་མ་ཿས་མན་བད་ན་ག་ཧ་ཤ་ར་པ་བཉ་ཏ་ས་ཧ།

nama samanta buddhanam drahi shari trabhendzatisoha

namaḥ samanta-buddhānāṃ grahiṣvari prabhañjati svāhā

Then consecrate them as sensual delights with:

ཨ་ཨཿཧ་གས་འདད་ཡན་ད་བན་གས་བརབ། 

om ah humoṃ āh hūṃ

Summon them with:

ཨ་སར་བ་ཏ་ཨ་ཀར་ཡ་ཛཿས་བཀག

om sarva bhuta akarshaya dzaoṃ sarvabhūta ākarṣaya jaḥ

༈ འགགས་པའ་ཟར་འདབས་ན།

THE APPENDED DETAILS FOR SUMMONING:

ཧ་མཛད་ཀ་ཕག་ར་བཅས་དམགས་པ་ར་གཅག་པས།

With the ‘hūṃ’ mudra and one-pointed focus, recite:

ན་མ། བན་རབས་ཀ་ར་བ་དན་ཅན་ར་བ་དང་བརད་པར་བཅས་པའ་དཔལ་ལན་བ་མ་དམ་པ་རམས་ཀ་བཀའ་བདན་པ་དང༌།

namo, jinlap kyi tsawa drinchen tsawa dang gyüpar chepé pelden lama dampa nam kyi ka denpa dangNamo—Through the truth of the speech of the glorious, sublime, gracious root and lineage gurus, who are the root of blessings;དངས་གབ་ཀ་ར་བ་ཡ་དམ་ཟབ་པ་སར་བདན་ག་དཀལ་འཁར་ཞ་ཁ་རབ་འབམས་ཀ་ལ་ཚགས་རམས་ཀ་བཀའ་བདན་པ་དང༌།

ngödrup kyi tsawa yidam zappa kor dün gyi kyilkhor zhitro rapjam kyi lhatsok nam kyi ka denpa dangthrough the truth of the speech of the boundless host of peaceful and wrathful yidam mandala deities of The Sevenfold Profundity, who are the root of siddhis;ཕན་ལས་ཀ་ར་བ་དཔའ་བ་མཁའ་འག་དམ་ཅན་ཆས་སང་དགངས་འདས་ཀ་ལ་ཚགས་འཁར་དང་བཅས་པ་རམས་ཀ་བཀའ་བདན་པ་དང༌།

trinlé kyi tsawa pawo khandro damchen chösung gongdükyi lhatsok khor dang chepa nam kyi ka denpa dangthrough the truth of the speech of the host of Embodiment of Realization vīras, ḍākinīs, and oath-bound Dharma protectors, who are the root of activities, together with their retinues;

བདན་པ་ཆན་པའ་མཐ་སབས་ནས་པ་ལ་བརན་ནས། ཆས་མཛད་ཡངས་ལ་སབ་འདར་སང་ཞང༌།

denpa chenpö tutop nüpa la ten né, chödzé yong la gap drer dang zhingand through the awesome power of great truth, may the rebellious spirits averse to Dharma practiceསད་བཅད་མངའ་ཐང་ཉམས་པར་བད་པ། བས་རག་རལ་མ་ཁ་དག་མཚང་ཅན། བཙའ་བད་མག་དམར། ཐན་བད་ཁ་ས། སད་བད་ལག་རམ།

nöchü ngatang nyampar jepa, sérak gyelmo kha gu tsangchen, tsajé mikmar, ten jé kha kya, sé jé lak dumwho decrease the splendor of the world and beings—the nine-headed queen of seraks, Red-Eyed Tsaché, Tenché Kakya, Seché Lakdum,ས་འདང་ཤ་སལ། ལགས་ཐལ་སན་པ། ཨ་མག་ཆང་རན། བ་ཉ་ཞ་རན། བསབ་པ་ལག་རང༌།

kyi dang sha gel, chak til ngönpo, ago chang kün, bhé nyazho kün, nyappa lakringKyidang Shagel, Chaktil Ngönpo, Ago Chang Kün, Bhenya Zhokün, Nyapa Lakring,ཐའ་རང་སང་འཁག་སགས་ལགས་འགང་དབལ་ས་ཐམས་ཅད་གད་གཟགས་ཡས་སགས་འད་ལ་ཁག་ཅག །

te’urang tong truk sok tok gong ül si tamché lü zuk yé tak di la khuk chikTéurang Tong Truk and so on, all of the harmful poverty-creating spirits—may they all be summoned into this ransom effigy!

ཨ་ཨ་ཙཥ་ཀ་ད་ཧ་ཧ་ཕཊ༔

om utsukma krodha hum hum pé༔om ucchuṣma krodha hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ༔

ཨ་བར་ཀ་མ་ཧ་པ་ན་ཡ་བར་ཙ་བར་བ་མ་ལ་ཨ་ཙཥ་ཀ་ད་ར་ཛ་ཧ་ཕཊ༔

om bhur kum mahapranayé bhurtsi bhuki bimaléutsukma krodha radza hum pé༔

oṃ bhurkuṃ mahāprāṇāye bhurci bhurki vimale ucchuṣmakrodharāja hūṃ phaṭ༔

ས་བརགས་ཀ་སགས་མཐར།

At the end of Ucchuṣma’s mantra say:

ལག་འད་དབལ་ས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཨ་ཀར་ཡ་ཛཿ

tok dré ül si tamché akarshaya dzaAll harmful poverty-creating spirits—ākarṣaya jaḥ.

ཞས་གསམ་མམ་བདན་སགས་དང་སར།

Do that three or seven times. Then dissolve them with:

ཛཿཧ་བ་ཧས་བསམ། 

dza hum bam hojaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ.

ཡས་རས་རམས་བན་གས་རབས་ཤང་བས་སང་གར་ར། །

Consecrate the ransom effigy substances and dedicate them.

འགགས་པའ་ལན་ཐབས་ཤག་བ་བར་སམས་པའ་སབས་ས་དཀར་པ་དག་བཤས་པད་ས་བཅའ་བསལ་ངར།  གཏར་སབ་རཏས་བས་པ་ཛ་ཡན།

This was written by the treasure revealer’s disciple, Ratna, at the request ofthe virtuous Geshé Pema Sachu when I was thinking about writing anadditional insert. Jayantu—victory!

༈ སམ ་རས་ཆངས་བ་རལ་བ་བར་ར་བརད་བསས་ཤང་འ་ཆབ་སང༌།

With the ‘sambhāra’ mantra dedicate the one hundred and eight changbuand pills and pour milk-water over them:

ཨ་ན་མཿསར་ཏ་ཐ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་ཝ་ལ་ཀ་ཏ། ཨ་སམ་ར་སམ་ར་ཧ།

om nama sarva tathagata avalokité, om sambharasambhara hum

oṃ namaḥ sarvatathāgatāvalokite | oṃ sambhāra sambhāra hūṃ||

ཧ༔ སར་སས་རང་རད་འཛན་པའ་གཟགས༔

hum ༔ serné rang gyü dzinpé zuk༔Hūṃ ༔ Embodiments of stinginess and grasping,༔

དབལ་ས་བས་རག་ལག་འགང་ན༔

ül si sérak tok gong ni༔malicious, poverty-creating serak spirits—༔མ་རན་ཉམ་ཐག་སད་སང་ཁར༔

mi gen nyamtak nö tong khur༔an old, decrepit man carrying an empty bucket,༔བས་རག་འབམ་ག་འཁར་གས་བསར༔

sé rak bum gyi khor gyi kor༔surrounded by a hundred thousand seraks—༔ཡད་ལ་མ་དགའ་མད་ལ་དགའ༔

yö la mi ga mé la ga༔You are averse to wealth and love poverty,༔གང་ལ་མ་དགའ་སང་ལ་དགའ༔

gangla mi ga tong la ga༔loathe prosperity, but rejoice in destitution.༔ནར་སབ་བད་ལ་སབ་འདར་སང་༔

nor drup jé la gab drer dang༔Rebellious spirits who detest those gaining wealth,༔སད་བཅད་མངའ་ཐང་ཉམས་པར་བད༔

nöchü ngatang nyampar jé༔you deplete the splendor of the world and beings,༔བ་ཉས་ཚང་ཉས་མ་ཁ་བཏང་༔

Recite the fierce mantra and circumambulate the entire house. Chase themaway with myrrh resin and hexed stones. In a place from which the top ofthe house cannot be seen, throw the effigy into a large river that is flowingaway from the area.

yeshé mé yi zhop tu sek༔are burnt into ashes by the fire of wisdom,༔ཆས་ཉད་རང་གས་རས་མད་གཏར༔

chönyi lung gi jemé tor༔scattered without trace by the wind of dharmatā.༔བང་སམས་ཆ་ཡས་བག་ཆགས་བཀས༔

jangsem chu yi bakchak trü༔Their habitual tendencies are washed away by the water of bodhicitta༔འབང་བ་ལ་ཡ་དབངས་ས་ཐམ༔

jungwa nga yi ying su tim༔and they dissolve into the five elements’ basic space.༔ལག་མ་མད་པར་དག་གར་ཅག༔

lhakma mepar dak gyur chik༔May they be purified without remainder!༔ཅས་ལ་སགས་ཁས་སགས་སགས་བཟས་ལ། ཡངས་ཐན་ར་ཐན་གཏར་ཁས་ཆ་འཐར་ཞང་ག་གལ་དད་པས་བདག་ག །

Having said that, recite the deity’s mantra, the ablution mantra and soforth. Throw hexed mustard seeds and stones, sprinkle ablution water, andwaft myrrh resin smoke.

yang shing gyaché ngotsar köpé dzé༔spacious and vast, with amazing, beautiful arrangement.༔ལ་ན་ལན་སག་བཀ་ཤས་ཕ་བང་ཆར༔

ta na lhün duk trashi podrang cher༔In the center of this transfixing, auspicious, vast palace,༔དབས་ཉད་དངས་མ་འད་ལ་འཁགས་པའ་ཀང་༔

ü nyi dangma ö nga trukpé long༔In an expanse of five-colored pure essence light,༔

kün kyang dzé shing ji chak gyen gyi tré༔They are all handsome, majestic, and adorned with jewelry.༔གཞན་ཡང་གཞལ་ཡས་བར་མཚམས་ཐམས་ཅད་ད༔

yeshé trin lé dögü char chen bep༔A great rain of everything desired pours down from wisdom clouds;༔སད་དང་ཞ་བའ་འབར་བ་རབ་ཏ་རས༔

si dang zhiwé jorwa rap tu gyé༔The prosperity of existence and peace increases beyond bounds,༔དངས་བཅད་མ་ལས་བདག་ལ་ཐམ་པ་ཡས༔

dangchü malü dak la timpa yi༔all of its pure potency dissolves into me,༔

Orange light rays like the brilliant glow of a million suns radiate out of the heart centers of the chief figures in the self and front mandalas. ༔ They invoke the wisdom hearts of the four retinue Jambhalas ༔ and inconceivable numbers of wealth lords, yakṣas, and world protectors and remind them of their commitments. ༔Replica emanations and re-emanations, like particles of dust in a sunbeam, stream out from their heart centers, ༔ moving as fast as lightning and blazing with light. ༔ Pervading the whole of samsara and nirvana, all of the phenomenal world, the environment and beings, they invite all fortune, enjoyments, and siddhis, both worldly and transcendental, in the form of auspicious substances and signs, rainbow lights, and spheres. By dissolving inseparably into the front visualization and the accomplishment substances, the glory and wealth of everything desired is brought down like a shower of rain.༔Imagine that while waving the arrow with silken streamers. Light fragrantincense, and with beautiful melody and music make the followinginvocation:

Thus supplicate. Then recite the root mantra with its appendix and thecombined wealth deity mantra, and at the end say:

It is said that at this point one should make the Dharma protector offerings,whether in an elaborate or concise way. Then recite Yeshe Künchok, or theHundred Syllables.

A. THE FEAST GATHERING

This has five parts: (1) consecrating the offerings; (2) inviting the guests; (3) presenting the offerings; (4) partaking of the gathering feast; and (5) dedicating the residuals.དང་པ་ན།

1. Consecrating the Feast Offeringཚགས་ཀ་ཡ་བད་ལ་བསང་ཆ་འཐར་ཞང༌།

Sprinkle cleansing water on the gathering articles and say:

ར་ཡ་ཁ༔ བདག་ཉད་ལར་གསལ་ཐགས་ཀའ་ས་བན་ལས༔

ram yam kham ༔ dak nyi lhar sel tuké sabön lé༔Raṃ yaṃ khaṃ ༔ From the seed syllable in the heart center of myself, manifest as the deity,༔ར་ཡ་ཁ་འཕས་ཚགས་རས་དངས་འཛན་སངས༔

ram yam kham trö tsok dzé ngödzin jang༔'raṃ yaṃ khaṃ’ radiate out, purifying clinging to the feast substances as real.༔འབ་གསམ་འད་ཀས་ཡ་ཤས་བདད་རར་བསར༔

dru sum ö kyi yeshé dütsir gyur༔The light of the three seed syllables transforms them into wisdom amrita,༔འདད་ཡན་མཆད་སན་ནམ་མཁའ་གང་བར་གར༔

döyön chötrin namkha gangwar gyur༔an offering cloud of sense pleasures filling the whole of space.༔

dakchak tsok sak dripa jang lé du༔so we may gather the accumulations and purify obscurations,༔ཡ་ཤས་ས་མར་རལ་བཞན་གཤགས་ས་གསལ༔

yeshé gyumar röl zhin shek su söl༔I bid you, please come as illusory wisdom’s display!༔

3. Presenting the Offerings

Thus accumulate the gathering offering. Perceiving the need for such aprayer, Künzang Gyurmé Tsewang Drakpa composed this very briefliturgy on the joyous first day of the month based on the root treasure text.

4. Enjoying the Gathering Feastལས་རར་གས་བཟའ་བ་གཡས་དང་བཏང་བ་གཡན་ད་ཐགས་ནས།

Holding the food in the right hand and drink in the left, the vajra serversays:

ཚགས་ཀ་མཆད་པ་རན་ད་རལ༔

tsok ki chöpa gyen du rölEnjoy the feast offering as an adornment!པདའ་ཕག་རས་བངས་ལ། ཨ་ལ་ལ་ཧཿ ཞས་ལས་དཀལ་ག་ལ་ཚགས་མཆད་ལ་བད་བའ་ཉམས་བསང་ང་༔

Taking it with the lotus mudra, one replies:

alala hoalala hoḥ

One then offers the feast to the assembly of deities in the mandala of one’sbody and maintains the experience of bliss.

Without holding anything back, gather the residuals and mix the pure andimpure together. Make the following aspiration:

rikdzin lamé kyilkhor duBy making this feast offeringཚགས་ཀ་མཆད་པ་ཕལ་བ་ཡས། །

tsok ki chöpa pülwa yito the mandala of vidyādhara gurus,བདག་གཞན་འག་བ་མ་ལས་པ། །

dag zhen drowa malü pamay I and all others, without exception,དཀལ་འཁར་གཅག་ཏ་གལ་བར་ཤག །

kyilkhor chik tu drölwar shokbe liberated in a single mandala!སགས་སན་ལམ་བཏབ། ཨ་ཨཿཧ་ལན་གསམ་བརད་ལ་ཞལ་ཆབ་སན་རག་གས་བན།

Say oṃ āh hūṃ three times and then take the amrita and rakta and spit itout on the residual.

Recite the Hundred Syllables three times.

Raise the support for accomplishment to the crown of your head, drinkamrita, and say:

3. Dissolving the Mandalaམདན་བསད་རན་ཡད་ན།

If you have supports for the front visualization, say:

om, dirni ten dang lhen chik duOṃ—Remain here inseparable from these supportsའཁར་བ་སད་ད་བཞགས་ནས་ཀང༌། །

khorwa sidu zhuk né kyangfor as long as samsara exists,ནད་མད་ཚ་དང་དབང་ཕག་དང༌། །

nemé tsédang wang chuk dangand graciously bestow on us everything sublime—མཆག་རམས་ལགས་པར་སལ་ད་གསལ། །

chok nam lekpar tsaldu solgood health, long life, mastery, and the like!

om sutra tishta benzayé sohaoṃ supratiṣṭha vajraye svāhā

Recite this followed by the Essence of Dependent Arising mantra. Tossflowers and recite prayers for auspiciousness. For the dissolution and re-arising, say:

lar yang chu lé nya dangwé tsül gyi rangnyi tsowö kur selwé chiwor om, drinpar ah, tukkar hum yik gi tsenpar gyurOnce more, like a fish leaping from water, I am vividly present as the form of the chief figure marked with the syllable ‘oṃ’ [ཨ] at myforehead, ‘āḥ’ [ཨཿ] at my throat, and ‘hūṃ’ [ཧ] at my heart center.

D. MAKING ASPIRATIONS AND PRAYERS FOR AUSPICIOUSNESS དང་པ།

1. Making Aspirationsདག་ར་རམས་འཁར་གསམ་ཡངས་དག་བས་བས་རས་བཏབ་པ་ན།

From among these two, first, to seal the roots of virtue by dedicating withinthe complete purity of the three spheres, chant:

ཧཿ རག་འཛན་བ་མའ་དཀལ་འཁར་བསབས་པའ་མཐས༔

hoh ༔ rikdzin lamé kyilkhor drupé tü༔Hoḥ ༔ By accomplishing the mandala of the vidyādhara guru,༔བདག་དང་མཐའ་ཡས་སམས་ཅན་མ་ལས་ཀན༔

dak dang tayé semchen malü kün༔may I and all infinite sentient beings༔ཕན་ལས་རམ་བཞ་ལན་གས་གབ་པ་དང་༔

trinlé nam zhi lhün gyi drupa dang༔spontaneously fulfill the four activities༔འད་གསལ་ཆས་སའ་དབངས་ས་གལ་བར་ཤག༔

ösel chökü ying su drölwar shok༔and be liberated into the basic space of luminous dharmakāya!༔

2. The Prayer for Auspiciousnessམ་ཏག་འཐར་ཞང་རལ་མ་ས་ཚགས་བསགས་ལ།

Toss flowers, play the various instruments, and say:

ར་བརད་བ་མའ་བན་རབས་སང་ལ་ཞགས༔

tsa gyü lamé jinlap nying la zhuk༔May the blessings of the root and lineage gurus enter my heart!༔

Thus conclude with prayers for auspiciousness. This was arranged on aFriday on Medicine Buddha day, the eighth day of the Tibetan month, inthe waxing moon phase of the second month of autumn (based on thetraditions of Kalacakra, medicine, Tibetan, Indian and Mongolianastrology), in the female water sheep year, at Pel Ka-Nying Shedrup Lingby the fourth Tsiké Chokling incarnation, the mantradharin Mingyur DewéDorjé, a descendant of the divine Tsang clan who holds both the family andspiritual lineages of Chokling Tersar. Sarva mangalaṃ—may all beauspicious!

ngön gyi dikpé tsok la dak nong shing༔I feel remorse for all my accumulated negative actions of the past,༔ད་ལའ་མ་དག་འགད་པས་རབ་ཏ་བཤགས༔

danté migé gyöpé raptu shak༔And with regret I confess my present non-virtues:༔ཕན་ཆད་ད་ལས་ལག་ཕར་བདག་གས་བསམ༔

denö sum dang lamé chökhor kor༔But to turn the wheel of the three piṭakas and of the unsurpassed Dharma.༔དག་ཚགས་མ་ལས་འག་བའ་རད་ལ་བས༔

getsok malü drowé gyüla ngo༔I dedicate all accumulations of virtue, without exception, to the minds of beings:༔འག་རམས་བ་མད་ཐར་པའ་སར་ཕན་ཤག༔

dronam lamé tarpé sar chin shok༔May they all reach the ground of unsurpassable liberation!༔སངས་རས་སས་བཅས་བདག་ལ་དགངས་ས་གསལ༔

sangyé seché dak la gongsu söl༔Buddhas and your bodhisattva heirs, turn your attention towards me!༔བདག་གས་བརམས་པའ་སན་ལམ་རབ་བཟང་འད༔

tenpé pelgyur lama rinchen nam༔May the precious gurus, the glory of the teachings,༔ནམ་མཁའ་བཞན་ད་ཀན་ལ་ཁབ་པར་ཤག༔

namkha zhindu kün la khyapar shok༔pervade everywhere like space itself,༔ཉ་ཟ་བཞན་ད་ཀན་ལ་གསལ་བར་ཤག༔

nyida zhindu kün la selwar shok༔and illuminate everything like the sun and moon.༔ར་བ་བཞན་ད་རག་ཏ་བརན་པར་ཤག༔

riwo zhindu tak tu tenpar shok༔May they always be with us, steadfast like mountains.༔བསན་པའ་གཞ་མ་དག་འདན་རན་པ་ཆ༔

tenpé zhima gendün rinpoché༔May the precious sangha, the bedrock of the teachings,༔ཐགས་མཐན་ཁམས་གཙང་བསབ་གསམ་གས་ཕག་ཤག༔

tuk tün trim tsang lap sum gyi chuk shok༔remain in harmony, maintain pure discipline and be rich in the three higher trainings.༔བསན་པའ་སང་པ་གསང་སགས་སབ་པའ་ས༔

chapsi gyé shing ten la menpar shok༔may his kingdom flourish and may he be of benefit to the Dharma.༔བསན་པའ་ཞབས་འདགས་རལ་རགས་བན་པ་ཡང་༔

tenpé söjé khyimdak jorden nam༔May the wealthy householders who sustain the teachings༔ལངས་སད་ལན་ཞང་ཉར་འཚ་མད་པར་ཤག༔

longchö den zhing nyertsé mepar shok༔be prosperous and always free from harm.༔བསན་ལ་དད་པའ་ཡངས་པའ་རལ་ཁམས་ཀན༔

ten la depé yangpé gyelkham kün༔May all Buddhist nations where there is faith in the teachings༔

dekyi den zhing barché zhiwar shok༔enjoy happiness and well-being, with all obstacles pacified.༔ལམ་ལ་གནས་པའ་རལ་འབར་བདག་ཉད་ཀང་༔

lam la nepé neljor dak nyi kyang༔And for me, this yogi on the path,༔དམ་ཚག་མ་ཉམས་བསམ་པ་འགབ་པར་ཤག༔

damtsik minyam sampa drupar shok༔may my samaya never decline and my wishes be fulfilled.༔བདག་ལ་བཟང་ངན་ལས་ཀས་འབལ་གར་གང་༔

dak la zang ngen lé kyi drel gyur gang༔May whoever makes a connection with me, through positive or negative karma,༔གནས་སབས་མཐར་ཐག་རལ་བས་རས་འཛན་ཤག༔

nekap tartuk gyelwé jedzin shok༔Always be blessed by the buddhas' care,༔འག་རམས་བ་མད་ཐག་པའ་སར་ཞགས་ནས༔

dronam lamé tekpé gor zhuk né༔and may all beings cross the gate of the supreme vehicle,༔ཀན་བཟང་རལ་སད་ཆན་པ་ཐབ་པར་ཤག༔

künzang gyelsi chenpo topar shok༔and reach Samantabhadra's great kingdom.༔

The great tertön Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, who was an emanation ofprince Murup Tsenpo, revealed this treasure publicly, below the peak ofDrakri Rinchen Tsekpa (Precious Rocky Mountain), on the right edge of themost sublime place, Sengchen Namdrak (Great Lion Sky Rock). The termawas originally written down by Yeshé Tsogyel in formal Tibetanhandwriting upon silk paper made from the Dharma robe of Vairotsana,and was immediately and perfectly transcribed by Pema Garwang LodröThayé upon discovery. May virtue and well-being increase and spread!
