EXPERTISE
Lamex has long believed that representing a
manufacturer on imports or exports doesn't simply
mean selling their products in an overseas market.
Our commitment to customers means that a full
service technical appraisal takes place before we
ever consider loading goods to a customer.
As such our technical staff travel the world and are frequently
relocated. Our technical team is totally non commercial - if a plant
doesn't meet their requirements and the food safety standards they
demand, then offers don't even flow through to our sales team and we
simply will not work with unapproved plants.
Today when quality assurance is increasingly important, most buyers
have extensive in-house QA facilities, but it is far more robust to get it
right at the source, prior to shipment and to develop a technical trust
between ourselves, the buyer and the customer.
Technical Assurance
TaSome years ago Lamex took the
bold step of investing in
technical personnel, rather than
sales people. We believed our
blue chip customers were
looking for an extra dimension to
assist their buying, that global
procurement would grow and
become increasingly more
important. We were right.
