General Construction Notes:

1. The Work of this contract is to furnish all labor and materials required for the renovation of a historical building in downtown Houston.

2. The Contractor shall construct a complete, fully operational building including all parts normally found in similar buildings and normally required by local building officials. Changes to the contract documents required by building officials or for normal building operations shall be at no cost to the Owner, unless they could not have been anticipated by experienced tradesman in the area. This does not include Owner initiated changes.

3. Contractor and Subcontractors are responsible for compliance with state and local codes and ordinances.

4. Work shown on one drawing but not another is still required. Work shown differently on separate drawings shall be resolved by the Architect at no additional cost to the Owner.

5. Contractor and Subcontractors are responsible for resolving spatial conflicts between trades to maintain lines indicated on these drawings.
