INDEX

Over the years, we have searched tirelessly to ensure that, whether you arrive on November 1st or May 1st, you’ll experience the best fishing the area has to offer. No matter what your pleasure, be it drifting dries or hucking streamers, hooking huge browns on the surface or snagging rainbows in the fast water, matching the evening hatch or landing the trophy brookie of a lifetime… we’ll take you there!!

But, as everyone knows, we fishing professionals are perfectionists, so we couldn’t stop there. This year, for the first time ever, we’re offering you a spot on a Las Pampas Expedition.

By adding just two nights to our normal weekly program in order to maximize the good-weather window, you can experience Patagonia on the deepest level possible. We will only embark upon four of these adventures this year, though, so book yours quickly!

Because we think our guests deserve our undivided attention, we will host only LPL clients at the lodge this year. This way, our anglers will get the most exclusive and personable service in Rio Pico all to themselves! Las Pampas Lodge is the only outfitter in the region that offers such an arrangement.

With our friendly, fun, 100% Argentine staff as your guides, you will become im-mersed Rio Pico’s unique customs and culture, while fishing like you never have before.

Of course, some things will never change. You will keep enjoying our amazing meals, top Malbec wines, extraordinary guides, the best private waters, impeccable plane-to-plane service, our well known friendly atmosphere and the chance for your Rio Pico Grand Slam, (catching a trophy brown, rainbow and brook trout in the same week!!) Looking forward to seeing you all this coming season, and to sharing with you the most magical fishing destination in the world as only we know it.

The Las Pampas Lodge Staff.

The 2015 season marks a turning point in Las Pampas Lodge’s history.

LAS PAMPAS STYLE

If you are crazy for wild trout fishing, you know that this part of Patagonia is pretty hard to beat.

Season after season we improve our service in the lodge and out of it. We always double in number our guests with our lodge staff. This ends up in the most personable and dedicated service. Inti-mate, as a lodge with only four bedrooms (with private bathrooms and a spectacu-lar view of the Cerro Desnudo) in the middle of the wilderness, can be.

People just leave back home not knowing what was best: the fishing, the food, the showers, the beds or the drinks in the kitchen!!!

So, each morning, you'll be awakened at

whatever time you choose with a soft knock on your bedroom door. The breakfast menu offers classics like your favorite style eggs, fruits, as well as unique lodge specialties and coffee, tea, juice, or whatever you like.

Lunch is served streamside by your guide and assistance guide, with home-made gourmet dishes, fried specialties, salads, beverages, and desserts.

Your dining experience at Las Pampas Lodge begins with cocktails in our full open bar and a super “picada” (mix of argentines salames, olives and cheese)

LODGING

At Las Pampas Lodge, we know that there's more to a fishing trip than just the fishing.

beside one of the best fireplaces in Patagonia.

Our dinner menu tempts you with a range of inspired choices of our profes-sional Chef, from fresh lamb and veg-etarian dishes, to steaks and chops, many of which feature local and organic ingre-dients. In the evenings, guests typically dine together, sharing stories and getting to know each other over the finest

Argentine Malbec wines, specially blended with the menu.

You will love to join the “Las Pampas Style” and feel Argentine fly fishing and hospitality to it's highest.

TAKE A BREAK NEXT WINTER AND COME TO ENJOY ONE OF THE BEST ANGLING EXPERI-ENCES IN PATAGONIA.

People just leave back home not knowing what was best: The fishing, the food, the show-ers, the beds or the drinks in the kitchen!!!

Lunch is served streamside by your guide and assistance guide, with home-made gour-met dishes, fried specialties, salads, beverages, and desserts.

WATERS

Las Pampas Lodge “means” variety and quality of water.

The area is a unique and healthy water system with a big population of Brown, Rainbow and Brook trout.

The Rio Pico is formed by several small Spring Creeks that join together to end in one huge Spring River!! Till it's con-fluence with the Rio Pampa, it flows slowly, then it becomes a willow lined mountain river. It can be floated; how-ever, by no means is floating the only or even the best way to fish its waters. It is classic dry fly water and yet it offers many big pools and long, deep runs where you can throw a streamer if you are so inclined. The Rio Pampa and Rio Nilson are both tributaries to the Rio Pico, both freestone streams with excel-lent numbers of both rainbow and browns. In all of the rivers, the rainbows make up the quantity and the browns the size. In addition to these three rivers,

there are several amazing Spring Creeks available. Adding the mighty waters of the Rio Corcovado, we ensure you will enjoy the most diverse fishery of the world.

Alternatively, the Rio Pico area is prob-ably most known for its small super pro-ductive lakes and their associated trophy fly fishing opportunities. Personally, our guides prefer to fish moving water, wading or floating and reading the stream. However, casting a big fly from a raft to a rising fish, with the potential of having a 20 to 28 inch brown or rainbow come up and suck it in, brings a whole new meaning to ‘lake fishing’!!

Rio Pico options of waters and species are greater than any other locations in Patagonia. Period.

GUIDES & STAFF

Our program would never be true with-out these incredible people. 100% Argentine, we've been having the same team working at the Lodge, since day one. And every year, new friends join us to develop the “Las Pampas Style”: our signature of an authentic Argentine experience. Imagine bright smiling faces and you will get the best idea of our staff. They ARE Las Pampas Lodge.

Our guides feel and breath LPL. Fun, happy, intelligent, great people are just some words that describe their personalities. Enthusiasm for guiding and sharing a real experience is their natural way of being. Their intimate knowledge of the Rio Pico area is shown to guests daily: they know every single trout by name and exactly what is their best menu of the day! Patient with beginners and fine instructors of experienced anglers. They are hunters... hunters of huge fish, huge smiles and of the best moments in the waters. Fans of sight fishing, matching the hatch and “we do what we have to do, Tony” to make our guests get their Rio Pico Grand Slam! Fluent English speaker, experienced oarsman, friendly, serious driver, lover of the outdoors and

tough worker means a LPL Guide. We are proud of having “Mighty” Martin , Andres, “Big” Nico, Pancho “Villa”, Paul “Anca” and Freddy “Pelado” on our team. By far, the guys you want to be chasing fish on the river, listening good music in the truck and sharing lunch, dinners and cold beers!!

OUR UNIQUE LODGE STAFF WILL MAKE YOUR STAY IN PA-TAGONIA UNFORGETTABLE.

Eduardo is the real deal and takes care of our breakfast (including raising the chicken that give you our fresh and organic eggs every morning!!) and all you can't see. The crazy Cooks are the taste of LPL: passionate, fresh and fine (there must be a reason why guests always end up drinking beers with them in the kitchen!!). Our waitress and the cleaning girls provide that female touch we all need in Patagonia. This team is one of the secrets of our success. Come and enjoy your time with all of them... and you will understand why we make the difference.

LAS PAMPAS EXPEDITIONSNEW FOR 2015!!!

We can't avoid braking our boundaries. And we thought that our program needed new adventures for repeating anglers. So, once again, we worked our minds out and broke the rules!!

Starting 2015, we offer LP Expeditions. They consist of camping trips in even more remote areas than our normal pro-gram! Our first client to enjoy them was Yvon Chouinard and his adventure will see the big screen on the Fly Fishing Film Festival 2016. It was a blast of emotions, nights around the fire, gourmet food and big fish!!

These expeditions can be added to our week program. If you wish to feel Patagonia deeper in your hart, you must

book them in advance: only four expedi-tions will be done next season. They con-sist of fishing real untouched waters, floating trips, the best equipment, chef on board cooking every meal around a fire, long days on the water, early morn-ings and late afternoons trophy fish and an experience you will never forget.

No extra equipment is needed, we pro-vide all you need to have the most direct contact with Patagonia nature.

Two different programs can be arranged. We keep these areas really private, so for more information contact us directly to know the fishing opportuni-ties in each. Trust us, they are the ulti-mate adventure in Patagonia Fly Fishing.

• We book and host every single trip to get to know our guests as friends and make sure they get only the best.

• Since the moment you arrive to Patagonia, you will feel more comfortable than in your own home land.

• With us, you'll never feel like a tourist in a far land. Our enthusiasm for service is second to none.

• We make sure all our neighbors and workers are successful and we are committed to the Rio Pico Region.

• We have no special deal with any travel agent in the industry.

• We have no hidden or extra costs. Our programs are authentic “all inclusive”: since you arrive till you depart of Patagonia.

• We are the first outfitters of the area and the lodge was the first lodge built in the area too.

• We provide one of the best food in Patagonia, by far. Our chef has a degree in the Cordon Blue Institute and his food is one of the finest. And we didn't even mention Eduardo's asados (Argentine BBQ)!!

• We have been LOCALS in the Las Pampas/Rio Pico area for more than 13 years.

WHY LAS PAMPAS LODGE?

100% of our guests get to know Las Pampas Lodge from “mouth to mouth”. And we just love it happens that way!!!

• We know the area of Rio Pico and the access to its waters more than any other outfitter in the world.

• We don't guess where tomorrow's fishing could be good. We KNOW where, because we live the 180 days of the season in the Rio Pico area waters.

• Our Staff makes us proud and are the “stone” where the whole operation stands.

• We consider our program as a “life changing” trip. You will just get surprised on how professional and natu-ral everything works during your stay.

• We have the best equipment for you: 4WD Toyota Hilux trucks, NRS rafts,

Trout Hunter Tippets, Rio new lines, RL Winston Rods and Patagonia Co. gear.

• We come back to the lodge after fish-ing whenever YOU decide: because you are completely tired of casting or till the last fish rises on a late hatch or because you want to have a hot shower and enjoy a drink at the lodge's deck. Just know, our guides love to fish till dark!!!

• We have the best team to help you book your flights and your time in Buenos Aires, for no extra cost.

• We offer you, all our knowledge of one of the last untouched fishing scenarios of the world.

Many of our guests have questions about the proper procedure for tipping at Las Pampas Lodge. Please use the follow-ing as a guideline for what you feel is appropriate. We employ a tip pool that’s shared by the entire lodge staff because everyone here plays a critical role in ensuring your experience is positive. Most of our guests choose to put 10% of their total bill toward this tip pool, which can be included in the final bill upon checkout. Additionally, fishing guides receive an average of $100 per day for each guided trip (1 or 2 anglers), and the guides prefer cash. You can tip your guide at the end of the day, or the end of your stay (whatever’s most convenient for you). And remember, these are simply guidelines, and you should tip what you feel is appropriate. And please let us know if there’s anything special that we can do to enhance your stay.
