Child Development Center Giving Tree Take a tag, Buy a Gift, Bless a Child
The Child Development Center Giving Tree will be displayed in the Narthex through December 3. The Giving Tree represents 23 children from the Child Development Center and their alumni siblings who are in need. Each tag on the tree represents a gift for a child. When all the tags are taken and gifts are returned, each child sponsored will receive: shirt, pants, winter coat, pajamas, a toy or ‘for fun’ gift.
Christmas with Our Neighbors The annual Neighbors in Need Christmas party takes place on December 16 during Saturday breakfast. You can help! We provide our neighbors with new socks, gloves, long underwear, and underwear, for both men and women. Check out the board in the narthex to see all that we need! Take a note or a few and bring the gifts back to church by December 15.

Teen Winter Party Wed., Dec. 13, 2 PM at Pointe of Grace All teens are invited to this winter celebration party with food, games and a time to socialize. This will be the last day of Mukilteo Teen Lounge for 2017. The Lounge will return January 10.
#GivingTuesday Tuesday, November 28 #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Stay tuned for more details next week, but consider it an extension of our Stewardship Response effort, and a great opportunity to look at how you can help support Trinity and our many wonderful ministries.

Children’s Memorial Candle Lighting Sun., Dec. 10, 6:30 PM at Pointe of Grace A non-sectarian remembrance program for all who have experienced the death of a child, sibling, or grandchild, and their friends. Program includes candle lighting, music, and poetry. Candles lit at 7 PM. You are invited to stay for light refreshments after the program. Christmas Craft Night Thurs., Nov. 30, 5:30 PM at Trinity Come help your children make special Christmas crafts. Invite your friends to come along too, the more the merrier! This FREE event is for preschool age–6th grade. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Longest Night Thurs., Dec. 21, 7 PM at Trinity For some, Christmas brings sadness instead of joy–a season of darkness arising because of grief, depression, isolation, trauma, and physical or mental illness. “The Longest Night” is a worship service for those touched by the darkness this year. Music, lament, prayers, and reflection will gently accompany us in the darkness.

Christmas Décor: Poinsettias Join us in decorating the sanctuaries at both Trinity and Pointe of Grace with poinsettias! Cost is $10. Order forms are available in the narthex at both sites. Please place your order by Friday, December 15, 2017.
Thanksgiving Boxes: Thank You! Thank you to all who donated food, money and boxes for this annual ministry!
This year, we supplied 106 boxes for children and their families, giving to six of the district schools, as
well as families from our Trinity Child Development Center and Neighborhood Youth Alliance.
With such an overwhelming response of donations, we added rice, oatmeal and an extra serving of protein to each of
the boxes. We estimated that 40% of the needed food was donated and we were able to purchase the rest with the
over $3,100 donated. Each box included a $10 gift card to go toward a turkey or ham.

Godly Play Sunday School at Pointe of Grace Godly Play is a Montessori-based interactive and imaginative way of presenting scripture stories to children. Join us each Sunday at Pointe of Grace at 11 AM.
Godly play is for children from preschool through elementary grades. The children engage with sacred stories, parables, the actions of worship, and the attentiveness of prayer. They listen, watch, wonder out loud and silently, and respond with their own expressions of meaning through music and the arts.
