Wiki supporters generally feel that it is generally easier to correct mistakes than create content from scratch. Collaboration on projects moves it along quicker and hence wiki wiki

Wiki software is often cited as an example of social software because of the ease with which users can work together on content, building a real sense of community.

With about 2/3 of the population needing to be educated, f2f mode cannot meet the demands.

Access to education should not be a limitation for anyone to study

Need for India-centric contexual learning materials particularly in local languages.

To tap all diverse knowledge sources

If India is to take the eleap to self sufficiency in (contexual) educational content there is need for rapid expansion in development of elearn materials wikieducator can play a major role.
