Serious games creativity and innovation in education
The objective of this interna-tional week is to enhance teacher students’ creativity in using games in the classroom and to develop their ability to innovate.
Board games, musical games, serious games, robots… will be tested in order to explore their pedagogical usefulness. In addi-tion, participants will discuss how games can be used and adapted for children with specific needs.
Via hands-on workshops, par-ticipants will examine the theore-tical basis of the use of games in education.
Over the course of the week, participants will :
■ get an overall understanding of the role of games in pedagogy
■ visit Swiss schools and interview teachers on their practices
■ create their own pedagogical game, test it and present it as a final outcome of the week.

Costs for students
A 100 € contribution will be asked to participants. Travel expenses to Lausanne & evening meals.
Lunch, accomodation with breakfast and the ticket for public transport in Lausanne are provided by the university.
