The Secretaryvisited the site andinspected all thearrangements made forthe drilling operation.He expressedhappiness overavailability of sufficientstandby machineriesand critical spare partsat site and directedconcerned officials toensure early completionof drilling process, sothat work can becompleted by targetdate of 15th September,2021. During inspection,
operation of variousmachineries wasexplained in detail.Control, monitoring andtracking mechanism forHorizontal DirectionalDrilling (HDD) was alsodemonstrated. It wasinformed that with theavailable trackingsystem, exact profile ofactual drilling can betracked, verified andcourse correction can be
carried out in real time. Further, on Rutlandside, welding of about1670 Mtr pipe, out oftotal 1720 Mtr has beencompleted. Now, thesewelded pipes shall besubjected to varioustypes of testing to checkquality of work andrectify any defect (ifdetected) duringtesting. Directions wereissued to agency to
