WHOAREWE?LB Concrete Solutions PTY LTD are a well-established and reputable concrete construction company, operating in and around the city of Melbourne after the business began in 2015.

We are a company born from humble beginnings; pouring driveways and footpaths with a team of just 2 or 3 workers working out of one truck. However, our professionalism, high quality of workmanship and attention to detail has helped us to grow exponentially.

We relished in these newfound opportunities, moving from small domestic jobs to pouring large-scale commercial developments for some of Melbourne’s biggest builders. This growth allowed us to expand internally, as we’ve broadened our range of staff and equipment to further our expertise and subsequently allow us to tackle larger and more complex jobs.

Today, we’re one of Melbourne’s most competitive concrete construction companies, with over 25 active sites around the city and its surrounding suburbs. We attribute our success to our dedicated workforce of approximately 40 employees, both on-site and office based. Their diligence and expertise are efficacious in delivering the highest-quality results that we strive for.

OURCAPACITYFrom crossovers and driveways, to multi-million dollar developments. Our ability to adapt and overcome challenges has allowed us to delve into many varied aspects of

construction. Specialising in concrete placement and finishing, we employ dedicated pour teams who are armed with the latest in concrete technology and equipment. These teams pour

a plethora of concrete structures on a daily basis, from ground slabs, suspended slabs, columns, stairs and civil structures i.e. bridges etc. We poured and finished over 150,000m2 of concrete in the year 2019, and we’re well on track to beat that this year. In addition we now run full structure projects. This includes, but is not limited to, bulk and detailed excavation, ground and slab prep, formwork and steel fixing. We employ highly qualified and committed formworkers, steel workers and machine operator’s who’s hard work and expertise is paramount in the delivery of these projects. We have an expert office team on-hand who tirelessly works in their respective fields to offer support, advice and anything else wherever necessary. Their attentiveness and boundless knowledge of the construction industry means that we can tackle an array of commercial and civil projects with the upmost confidence.

OUREQUIPMENT We’ve come a long way from our old 1992 Isuzu truck! As our scope of works becomes ever more varied, so does our fleet of vehicles, equipment and technology.

Quite often you’ll find us pouring at several locations a day, so our fleet of ready-to-pour Hilux’s allows us to send the right equipment to multiple jobs.

We have a full range of excavation and tipper equipment allowing us to tackle both bulk and detailed excavation works.

Our specialist patchers offer a variety of services such as concrete grinding, self-leveling and patching.

We use some of the latest in cutting edge concrete technology, including Rebar tying guns, vibrating screed systems and ride-on trowel machines. Our equipment line has just recently seen the addition of the Somero S10-a Laser Screed, a state of the art piece of concrete engineering technology that vastly improves our capabilities.

SAFETYATLBCONCRETESOLUTIONS Above all else at LB, safety is the single most important aspect of our day-to-day operations, and we are wholly committed to OH&S operations. We abide by Australian Standards for safety equipment and personal safety gear. For our employees who work hard for us, we believe in maintaining the safest working environment for them as possible, ensuring they can return home to their families at the end of every day.

The most necessary tool in construction is safety! We aim to provide the most up-to-date safety equipment and technology, including full-face masks to align with recent WorkSafe regulation changes regarding working with dust.
