About me

I offer all roundmarketing,communications, events

and business support tosmall and medium sized

businesses, charities,

schools and training

providers.

My aim is to offer

practical, cost-effective

solutions that save youmoney and, if youre in

the private or voluntary

sectors, boost your

income and return on

investment

Wide ranging experience

I have worked in marketing,

communications and event

management roles throughout my

career.

These have included very hands-on

roles with tiny budgets, to very high

profile campaigns in the national

media, and successful turn-round

roles and strategic positions up to

Director level.

Well qualified

As well as postgraduate level

qualifications in marketing I also

have a languages degree, CELTA and

PTLLS teaching qualifications, and

Certificates in Administrative

Management and Business Planning.

Be clear where you are going from

the start: set SMART objectives and

desired outcomes, understand your

audiences, have clear, consistent

and compelling messages and

creative approaches.

2. Measure

Measure as much as sensibly

possible and learn for the future.

3. Integration

Dont work in silos. Your client sees

the whole not the individual parts.

Integrated communications are

more powerful and cost-effectiveand will create synergy.

4. Infrastructure

Build your infrastructure on firm

foundations. Have the right people,

data, planning and processes in

place to make it happen. Good

communication between all players

in the team is vital.

But people need to be trained

and supported with the right

systems and back up to make

success happen. That can beparticularly difficult for small

organisations and freelancers.

Specialist suppliers can do a great

job but may leave you with a gap:
