Talent Q accreditation

2 dayUSD 3000 Dubai - UAE5-6 February 20136-7 May 2013

Accreditation provides training in three key areas:

• Psychologicalknowledge(theoretical background)

• Psychometrictheory (scaling, standardisation, norms, test theory, validity and reliability)

• Practitionerskill (using the tools in a work-related context and how to administer the tests)

All participants who successfully complete the accreditation (in either Assessing Ability in Organisations, or Assessing Personality in Organisations) will receive a certificate of completion provided by Talent Q.

In addition, participants will be registered with the BPS (British Psychological Society) regardless of which country they are in. Once registration has been completed the BPS and EFPA offer delegates the opportunity to be formally recognised via a test register. The BPS will automatically invoice all delegates who complete the training. Payment of these invoices is optional and only required if you wish to go on the register.

The entire training process typically tends to take about 60- 80 hours but may vary according to individual commitment and a two day face to face workshop. The e-learning study material needs to be completed before the workshop. The assignments need to be completed within one month of completing the workshop.

Register now at www.haygroup.com/uae/training-talentq

The TalentQ full accreditation provides participants with the ability to use TalentQ tools for screening, selection and development. It is suitable for individuals with no previous experience in using psychometric tools, and allows participants to request for accreditation as per the new BPS and EFPA standard (which have now replaced the old BPS Level A and B standards).

The workshop is a two day programme

Emotional and social competency inventory (ESCI) accreditation

2 dayUSD 3600 Dubai - UAE27-28 February 201329-30 May 2013

You'll have to do some work before the course: reading to familiarise yourself with the idea of emotional intelligence and completing your own ESCI questionnaire. Day one will mostly cover the theory side, while day two gives you a chance to practice a feedback session ahead of the accreditation exercise in the afternoon. For more details download our course flyer from our website.

The accreditation means you not only get licensed to use our 360º ESCI feedback tool, but have access to our diagnostics processing team who can support you in collecting data and producing ESCI reports for your clients. Being accredited by us means your clients, or your organisation can have confidence that you are skilled in providing feedback in the competencies that impact business and service performance.

Register now at www.haygroup.com/uae/training-ESCI

Programme requirements

To attend this programme you must meet one or more of the following criteria:

• licensed psychologist

• graduate training in psychology, social work or a related field

• 3+ years experience in coaching, executive coaching or internal HR

Developed with the acknowledged world EI expert Dr. Daniel Goleman, this two-day course is everything we know about delivering emotional intelligence feedback in a nutshell. During the course you'll learn more about the concept of emotional intelligence and how to deliver ESCI feedback to your clients (internal or external) to help them become more effective colleagues and leaders.

We're not going to teach you how to be a coach – we expect you to already have a good level of experience in delivering feedback. What this course will teach you is how to understand and deliver feedback specifically on the ESCI tool.

Become accredited to use Goleman, Boyatzis and Hay Group’s renowned feedback tool – the emotional and social competency inventory (ESCI).

Leadership styles and organisational climate accreditation

2 dayUSD 3600 Dubai - UAE25-26 February 201327-28 May 2013

Register now at www.haygroup.com/uae/training-leadership

Hay Group has studied the issue of motivation for more than 40 years, and we know that the most effective way to improve productivity is to create a workplace climate that encourages workers to perform at their best; to give extra effort, not just enough to get by.

Research has shown that up to 30 per cent of the variance in financial results (profits and revenue) can be explained by differences in the climate leaders create for their teams. And 50-70 per cent of the variance in organisational climate can be explained by differences in the leadership styles that managers use. Our own work across industry lines – with consumer products, financial services, manufacturing and healthcare organisations - demonstrates this time and again.

Some organisations do better than others in creating positive working climates. Even within organisations, Hay Group has found wide variations in the climates experienced by different work groups. In one corner of the building people may be struggling, confused by conflicting priorities and starved of performance feedback, while others understand their priorities, have the authority to get the job done and know where they stand. This is even the case when different groups have the same mission, are faced with the same resource constraints and work under the same pressures.

You can help managers to develop and use the leadership styles that have the biggest impact on climate and performance. Effective leaders draw on six key leadership styles – in the right situations, with the right people, at the right time.

Programme requirements

To become accredited in our inventory of leadership styles (ILS) and organisational climate survey (OCS), you must be in some form of coaching or training role. This programme is offered to client organisations and the accreditation applies within that organisation only. The accreditation programme requires some pre-course work and offers a mix of practice and theory, with an accreditation exercise at the end of day two.Become accredited to use Hay

Group's leadership styles and organisational climate tools in a two-day accreditation programme that allows you to deliver results in an affordable way.
