Our Presenters

Don Abrams, MD is the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and the Director of the Krieger Eye Institute of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Abrams is a graduate of the combined six-year BA-MD program of Lehigh University and The Medical College of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and served as a fellow in glaucoma at the Doheny Eye Institute of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Abrams has served on hospital information technology committees, including the Sinai Hospital taskforce that selected the first computerized scheduling system over two decades ago. Additionally, he chaired the faculty practice billing committee in the late 1990s that designed and implemented the billing system that is still used for the health system today and was instrumental in researching, choosing and implementing the current EMR system for the Krieger Eye Institute.

Matt Barron has been with ADP AdvancedMD since 2010 and has over 10 years experience in the healthcare and business intelligence industry. In his time at AdvancedMD, he has led some of the company’s most exciting innovations, including the clinical mobile application and AdvancedInsight. Matt serves as Chief Product Manager and manages all AdvancedMD business software applications. Prior to AdvancedMD, Matt worked as a management consultant, helping hospital systems and large physician groups to become best-in-class businesses. By using big data, analytics and sound strategy, Matt helped hundreds of clients to thrive in an increasingly competitive environment. Matt received his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Utah.

Amr Assal, Ph.D., is a seasoned product manager with over 18 years of experience. He joined Modernizing Medicine in April 2014 as the Senior Product Manager for EMA Dermatology and EMA Plastic Surgery. Amr brings with him a reputation as an agent of change with high energy levels and a mix of entrepreneurial, technical, leadership and strategic skills. Amr has a Ph.D. in linear systems and control from UC Santa Barbara and attended Stanford for a Master’s in Computer Science with a focus on Expert Systems.

Robert Betz is the Product Launch Manager and Lead Educator for EMA Orthopedics. Prior to joining the Modernizing Medicine team in 2011, he worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for an eight-provider practice in Northern Arizona. In that practice, he was the point person for implementation of EMA and attended the very first EMA Workshop in 2010. Since that time, he has trained countless orthopedic surgeons, ophthalmologists, and dermatologists on best practice uses and implementation of EMA.

Jodi Canapp, CPC, CPC-H, OCS, COA is Supervisor of Revenue Cycle and Special Projects Manager for the Krieger Eye Institute - Lifebridge Health. She manages the front office at three clinical locations and oversees the correct coding and charge entry of all patients seen. She is also responsible for managing and troubleshooting all IS systems, including EMA Ophthalmology.

Daniel Cane is President, CEO and co-founder of Modernizing Medicine. Daniel was named the 2013 Sun Sentinel Excalibur Awards Palm Beach Small Business Leader of the Year and honored as a Palm Beach County Ultimate CEO by the South Florida Business Journal. Since founding the company in 2010, Daniel has led his team to raise a total of nearly $30 million in funding and to hire over 200 employees. An entrepreneur, Daniel has a BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University, where, as an undergraduate, he co-founded Blackboard Inc.

Inga Ellzey, President/CEO of Inga Ellzey Practice Group, Inc., is the nation’s foremost expert on dermatology coding, documentation and reimbursement. She has over 38 years of experience in the field of dermatology-specific billing services. Inga has dedicated her career to the dermatology community by providing dermatologists with the keys to a successful practice through quality coding and documentation; an understanding of the rules and regulations that govern billing; and consistent, reliable and up-to-date information to optimize revenue while staying legal and compliant.

Ellen Carpe, with 17 years of product and program management experience working in software and web development environments, has the vision and experience to drive EMA Orthopedics to success as its Product Manager. Ellen has a proven track record for managing the software development life cycle and launching products and services for successful companies like AOL, Scripps Network (HGTV, Food Network, etc.), PayPal and now Modernizing Medicine.

Jayne Collard is the EMA Meaningful Use Manager. Born and raised in Colorado where she currently resides, Jayne is the state’s only Modernizing Medicine employee. She has certifications in both Meaningful Use and PQRS and manages the EMA Meaningful Use Safeguard Service team. Jayne loves to raft, camp and spend time with friends and pets.

Scott Cramer is Kareo’s Director of RCM Consulting with responsibility for introducing independent practices to Kareo’s revenue cycle management solution. Scott works closely with both new and mature practices to help them understand the right questions to ask when considering an outsourced billing solution. Scott’s mission is to find the best solution for each individual practice based on their unique situation.

Nadeem Dhanani, MD, MPH is the Medical Director of EMA Urology™. He received his Bachelor of Science Degrees in Biology and Public Policy Studies from Duke University, graduating cum laude. He earned his medical degree at the University of Florida, followed by an internship in general surgery and residency in urological surgery at the University of Texas – Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center. He completed further subspecialty fellowship training in urologic oncology at the National Cancer Institute on the campus of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Dhanani also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University. He was the Chief of Urology at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, in addition to serving on faculty at Harvard Medical School and as a member of the Dana-Farber Harvard Cancer Center. He was also on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and the Director of Robotic Surgery at Mt. Auburn Hospital.

Patric Edmondson serves as Senior Vice President of Product Development, overseeing the development of Modernizing Medicine’s software products and directing the engineering organization responsible for hosting operations. Prior to joining Modernizing Medicine, Patric served in executive roles for two software companies and served as Deputy CIO for one of the county’s largest government organizations. Patric holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University.

David Goldman, MD is the EMA Ophthalmology Team Lead for the Anterior Segment. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology in the Department of Corneal and External Diseases at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Goldman received his Bachelor of Arts cum laude with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University and Doctor of Medicine with distinction in research from the Tufts School of Medicine. Dr. Goldman’s clinical practice encompasses medical, refractive and non-refractive surgical diseases of the cornea, anterior segment and lens.

Paul Gallogly, MD is the EMA Ophthalmology Team Lead, Posterior Segment. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist who received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Florida. He graduated with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Gallogly completed an internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Following his internship, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. In addition, Dr. Gallogly completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute where he served as Chief Resident, Co-Director of Ocular Trauma, and a member of the Residency Selection Committee. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Florida Society of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.

Mihai Fonoage, Ph.D., is the Director of Mobile Development for Modernizing Medicine. In this role he manages, designs and implements EMR systems on mobile platforms, including both iOS and Android. Mihai has over 10 years of mobile development experience, and his technical prowess has strongly contributed to Modernizing Medicine’s success. Mihai has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University and was Modernizing Medicine’s first employee. He is a recipient of the South Florida Business Journal’s 2014 40 Under 40 award.

Carrie Fuller serves as the Director of Government Compliance and works to ensure that EMA includes the latest updates for government compliance programs including Meaningful Use and PQRS. She works with government regulators, physicians on staff, a legal team and computer engineers to enhance EMA’s content and usability. Carrie has been a nurse since 1998. Before joining Modernizing Medicine she was a float nurse at Cleveland Clinic Florida where she was a “super-user” of their EHR system and assisted users in using it. Carrie is also a certified BLS instructor with the American Heart Association. In 2013 she became a Certified Scrum Product Owner.

Adam Gresh joined Modernizing Medicine in January of 2011 and is honored to be serving as the Director of Software Engineering. Over a span of almost 20 years as a software developer and technical leader, Adam has led teams in creating applications from billing systems for life insurance, to tracking helicopter maintenance. His experience with operations teams includes everything from scheduling and monitoring mainframe batch workflows to leading teams in the creation of physical and cloud-based data centers.

Michael Fishweicher is Vice President of Business Development for ELLKAY, a Modernizing Medicine partner company that makes practice billing systems compatible with EMA. Michael is a veteran of the EMR sector, spending over a decade focused on EMR systems in the ambulatory vertical.

Patricia J. Kennedy, COMT, CPC, COE, is a Senior Consultant for Rose & Associates and has been working in the ophthalmology and optometry industry for the past 30 years. In 1991, Patricia earned her Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist certification and has worked in all aspects of an ophthalmology practice. In her current position, Patricia conducts on-site chart audits, assists clients with Medicare reimbursement and compliance issues, and conducts client training seminars for physicians, administrators, technicians and allied healthcare professionals. Patricia also serves as guest speaker at several national ophthalmology meetings addressing areas of documentation and compliance required for ophthalmology practices to maintain Medicare compliance.

Ben Hayes, MD is the co-founder of the Skin & Allergy Center located south of Nashville, TN. He completed his undergraduate work at Davidson College and received his Ph.D. in Immunology and Pharmacology. He graduated from Boston University Medical School and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society. Dr. Hayes completed a dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University and a dermatopathology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He has been using EMA Dermatology™ for over four years.

Marshall Happ is the Director of Enterprise Information Management at Modernizing Medicine. He is responsible for operational tooling and integration, workflow process improvement and business intelligence for the company. Marshall graduated as an industrial engineer from Georgia Institute of Technology and owned and operated five restaurants in Atlanta, GA between 2001 and 2009. In 2012, he moved back to South Florida to work for Modernizing Medicine, coming from the institutional healthcare IT space.

Amy Hutchinson, MD is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, and performed her residency in ophthalmology at Emory. She performed her fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Hutchinson is the physician champion for the search for and implementation of an ophthalmology-specific electronic medical records system for the department of ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine.

Ashraf Jaddo is a Senior Mobile Software Engineer at Modernizing Medicine with 10 years of experience in writing high-end software products that have helped and changed the lives of millions. Ashraf started programming at the age of nine with BASIC on a Commodore 128K. During college he built an optical character recognition (OCR) driver that was licensed by iMate (HTC ME) to recognize handwritten text. When Ashraf is not programming, he enjoys photography, online video games and driving his car on racetracks.

Dan Kelly is the Vice President of Client Connectivity for Miraca Life Sciences. His responsibilities include strategic planning and product development of Miraca’s integration with its clients. Dan has a background in software, pharmaceuticals and lab services.

David Lehman, MD is Medical Director for EMA Otolaryngology™. He completed his undergraduate degree at Yale University and attended medical school at the University of Florida, graduating as co-valedictorian. Dr. Lehman completed his residency at University of Miami – Jackson Memorial Hospital and has been a partner at Palm Beach Ear, Nose, and Throat Association since 2005, practicing as a general otolaryngologist. He is one of a small number of surgeons in Florida regularly performing endoscopic orbital decompression surgery for Graves’ eye disease.

John Lynn is the editor and founder of the nationally renowned blog network HealthcareScene.com. The Healthcare Scene network currently consists of 15 blogs containing over 7000 articles. These Healthcare IT-related articles have been viewed over 14 million times. Healthcare Scene recently added Health IT-focused career resources HealthcareITCentral.com and HealthcareITToday.com to the network. John also co-founded two companies: InfluentialNetworks.com and Physia.com, and was an advisor to the recently acquired docBeat. Mary LeGrand is a nationally recognized coding and reimbursement expert and works with physician practices in all aspects of the care continuum. Mary’s expertise and strong clinical background as a Registered Nurse and Certified Coder (CCS-P and CPC) places her in high demand to present coding and documentation seminars addressing physician, coding/billing staff and management education needs. In addition to Mary’s speaking expertise, she is in constant demand to perform prospective and retrospective coding and documentation audits. She has become the expert in EMR documentation reviews, identifying many risk areas associated with template design, process flow (staff, physician and paper) and risk associated with lack of customization of patient visits and opportunities to assess integration of E&M guidelines into the EMR logic. Mary is an instructor for Karen Zupko & Associate’s national coding and reimbursement workshop series, sponsored by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology and the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, using her clinical background and her dual coding certifications, she is well-versed in conducting coding and documentation reviews plus explanation of benefits (EOB) and revenue cycle reviews across both medical and surgical specialties.

Daniel Kronstat currently serves as the Lead Support Specialist for Modernizing Medicine and has been with the company since 2012. He graduated from Auburn University and brings over five years experience working with EMR software. Daniel’s experience is not limited to support, but also includes training and coordinating implementations.

Misty Loucks, COA has been a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant for eight years. Before her year-long tenure at Retina Care Specialists, she worked in general ophthalmology at Delrowe Eye Care for 15 years.

Josh Koontz is an EMA Ophthalmology™ Senior Software Educator who has been working in ophthalmology and optometry since 1998. Previously operating an optical shop and lab, Josh has experience with M.D. and O.D. workups and comprehensive, glaucoma, retina and diagnostic imaging. Josh has enjoyed training Modernizing Medicine’s clients for over two years.

Angela Maura, trained as a Certified Medical Assistant, is currently a Software Educator and Coding Specialist at Modernizing Medicine. Angela assists in the implementation of EMA by utilizing her teaching methodologies and structured lesson plans for providers and their staff all around the nation. She developed and spearheaded Modernizing Medicine’s CCMA program to help medical assistants achieve accreditation and enable practices attesting to Meaningful Use to be compliant with CPOE. She is also an Advisory Board Member for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

Jordan Miller, MD is the Medical Director of EMA Dermatology™. He was one of EMA’s first clients and quickly became a “super-user.” Today he co-teaches the EMA Certification Class so doctors have access to real life teaching from someone who has direct experience with the intricacies of being a full-time dermatologist. A native of Northern Arizona, Dr. Miller is a graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where he also completed his dermatology residency. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, and his practice centers on medical and surgical dermatology, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Susan Mack is the Lead Dermatology Software Educator at Modernizing Medicine. She began her journey in the medical field over 13 years ago in neurology, advancing to primary care and then finding her passion in dermatology. She has been with Modernizing Medicine since 2011. Susan spends free time with her family and she also enjoys traveling, reading and gardening.

Yesenia Maura started with Modernizing Medicine as a Software Educator for dermatology and plastic surgery. In this role she was introduced to Meaningful Use, leading to her current position as EMA Meaningful Use Specialist. She also assists with Modernizing Medicine’s MU Safeguard Service, currently serving over 180 doctors. Outside of work, Yesenia enjoys spending time with her family, photography and cooking.

Marielena Mendez graduated as a medical assistant from the Ultrasound Diagnostics School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She worked in internal medicine for two years before moving into the field of dermatology and becoming a head MA and scribe. After six years, she returned to school at Palm Beach Medical Career Institute to become a surgical first assistant. She completed her internship at Martin Memorial Hospital and started working at Modernizing Medicine in 2011. She began her career at Modernizing Medicine in sales before transitioning to the role of software educator, traveling around the country to help clients complete the go-live process and to lead local and on-site training workshops. Marielana is now Product Launch Manager for EMA Gastroenterology™ and EMA Urology™.

Juan Molina has a passion for and in-depth experience working in high-paced, fast-growth companies, specifically in the healthcare and technology space. An entrepreneur at heart, he is in his second startup and on the founding team at CareCloud, a Cloud-based software and services company providing the next generation of practice and clinical management technologies to healthcare providers of all sizes and serves as the company’s Director of Business Development and Chief Evangelist. He is directly responsible for managing an outside sales team and plays key leadership roles as it relates to the company’s overall sales effectiveness strategies and sales operations.

Jason Richards is a Software Educator and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant with nine years experience in workflow analysis and improvement, technician onboarding and continued education, implementation of ophthalmic devices and EMR systems, and revenue building opportunities. Jason has managed up to 110 clinical staff members and managed project start-ups. As a volunteer coach and officiator for high school and youth sports, he has used these skills for a unique approach to educating clients.

Alex Rocha is part of the mobile team at Modernizing Medicine and is actively working to help build an “EMAzing” experience for all EMA iPad users. He is passionate about everything involving mobile technologies and has over six years of experience developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Alex is also the Lead Developer for the PocketEMA™ Android app and collaborates in R&D projects related to medical device integration with mobile technologies.

Rob Pickell is Kareo’s Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for marketing, sales and strategic alliances. Rob is passionate about the value and importance of small practices in delivering healthcare in the U.S., and his mission is to spread the word on how Kareo can help small medical practices prosper and grow by leveraging Kareo’s innovative, cloud-based medical office software solution.

Edward R. Ponatoski is the CEO of Anne Arundel Dermatology, the largest dermatology practice in the greater Annapolis and surrounding areas with over 40 years of service to the community. Ed was a former Principal of SRA International and has also held key positions in both the Department of Defense and the U.S. Army. He holds a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Fellow of the Health Facility Institute and member of Medical Group Management Association.

Mirelys Quiroga, Product Launch Manager for both EMA Plastic Surgery™ and EMA Cosmetic™, is responsible for training clients to proficiently use EMA. Mirelys also works closely with Dr. Tim Sayed, Medical Director for EMA Plastic Surgery, on improvement requests and product workflow. She has worked in the medical field for over 10 years in internal medicine and dermatology. Fluent in English and Spanish, Mirelys graduated with a degree in Heath Care Management from South University and is currently pursuing a business degree.

Elana M. Oberstein, MD, MPH is a board certified internist with a subspecialty in arthritis and autoimmune disease. She is also a certified clinical densitometrist (CCD) with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. Dr. Oberstein received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Harvard University. Dr. Oberstein graduated with research distinction from the University of Miami School of Medicine with a dual Medical Degree and Master of Public Health. She completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She served as Chief Medical Resident for the Department of Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology. During her time at the University of Miami, Dr. Oberstein was inducted into the Iron Arrow society, the highest honor attainable at the University. Dr. Oberstein now serves as a voluntary faculty member with the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Oberstein serves as a mentor to first and second year medical students. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Florida Society of Rheumatology and the American College of Rheumatology (ACR).

Lindsey Sapp has been a medical assistant for 10 years and has been a Software Educator at Modernizing Medicine for over two years. Lindsey originally began her career serving in the specialty of OB/GYN before she advanced to the field of dermatology. Lindsey learned EMR system scribing and documentation in that role and brought that knowledge to Modernizing Medicine. This helps her to relate to the real-life experience of providers, which she uses to teach providers and their staff how to document and use EMA quickly and efficiently. Lindsey also travels and teaches EMA Workshops, assists with onsite visits for go-live and ensures that clients are still on the right track with EMA health checks.

Andrew Shaffer serves as the Senior Manager of Support Services and brings over 15 years of technical support experience to Modernizing Medicine. He previously served as the Senior Manager of Client Services for Campus Management Corp., a software development company that provides post-secondary education institutions with administrative and academic solutions. Andrew is a former Marine, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and is HDI certified as a Support Manager.

Steven I. Rosenfeld, MD is the Chair of Ophthalmology for Modernizing Medicine and was involved from the very beginning in the design and implementation of EMA Ophthalmology™. Dr. Rosenfeld is a Bascom Palmer fellowship-trained cornea and external disease specialist who specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the cornea, infectious and inflammatory eye diseases, refractive surgery and cataract surgery. He has served on the Editorial Boards for the BCSC, Focal Points, and EyeNet, under the auspices of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Rosenfeld is a Voluntary Professor of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and is in private practice with Delray Eye Associates.

Dan Rodrigues is the founder and CEO of Kareo. Tim Sayed, MD, MBA is the Medical Director for EMA Plastic Surgery™ and EMA Cosmetic™. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Sayed is also a leader in local and national medical and plastic surgical organizations. Dr. Sayed is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha, after earning his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and computer sciences with highest honors at the University of California at Berkeley. He then completed general surgery residency at Harvard Medical School’s prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital before returning to UCSF for plastic surgery training. He is a graduate of the Executive MBA program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. In 2013, Dr. Sayed was elected to serve on the HIMSS EHR Association Executive Committee.

Elliott Ziegelman is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University’s small business and entrepreneurship program. He had an opportunity to work with Modernizing Medicine’s CEO Daniel Cane during the 2009 FAU business plan competition, which resulted in a first place win and a role at Modernizing Medicine in 2010. Today, Elliott serves as the National Sales Manager of Modernizing Medicine’s EMA Ophthalmology™. Elliott is responsible for the oversight of all eye care sales and combines a consultative and educational approach to earning the business of ophthalmology providers. Under his leadership, the ophthalmology sales team is extremely versed in both Software-as-a-Service and ophthalmic knowledge. Elliott has been recognized with multiple Modernizing Medicine awards, including the prestigious Presidents Club Award, Rising Star Award and Top Sales Award.

Scott Welsch graduated college with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. Scott became a medical assistant to help pay the bills while preparing for a master’s program. While he was a medical assistant, he was recruited by Modernizing Medicine to be an Educator. Since then, he has traveled to 32 states to train physicians and their staff on the proper use of EMA™. He now is in charge of overseeing the successful development and implementation of both EMA Otolaryngology™ and EMA Rheumatology™.

Joseph J. Zaladonis, Jr., MD provides cosmetic skin care and expert treatment of diseases affecting the skin, hair and nails. Dr. Zaladonis earned his medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania—Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has studied medicine at various top schools since the early 1980s, and he has acquired extensive experience in the dermatology field.

Jason Weisstein, MD, MPH is the Team Lead for EMA Orthopedics™. A native of southern California, he graduated valedictorian from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 1998. He subsequently completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of California - San Francisco and then received fellowship training at the University of Washington. Dr. Weisstein specializes in limb salvage surgery. His interest lies in the restoration of function in limbs that are in jeopardy, either from arthritis, tumors or other diseases. Dr. Weisstein worked as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Washington, with a dual specialization in hip and knee reconstruction, as well as bone and soft tissue tumors. Dr. Weisstein was selected as a fellow by both the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons, elite societies reserved for highly trained surgeons who adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.

Stefanie Thomas, BA, CMPE, Director of The Krieger Eye Institute at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD, has been a hospital executive for more than 10 years. In both administrative and financial management roles, she has steered numerous practices, including ophthalmology, neurology and neurosciences and general surgery, with a unique and engaging leadership style. She focuses on strategic change to position physician practices for optimal growth and financial success so that they can meet ever-changing healthcare market demands.

Dr. Michael Sherling, MD, MBA is the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Modernizing Medicine. He’s responsible for developing and designing the dermatology-based software, and supervising the design of Modernizing Medicine’s other EMA Specialties.
