APPOINTMENT Learning and Development Coordinator We are looking for a proactive and organised Learning and Development Coordinator with at least 3 years’ experience in a teaching/training delivery role, who takes pride in consistently delivering high quality work. If you have a passion for developing others, enjoy relationship building and have excellent communication and IT skills, we are interested in you. Working within a small friendly team, you will have a central role in planning and co-ordinating a range of learning experiences which include training, qualifications, and apprenticeships to help employers raise skills and individual members progress. Job Title – Learning and Development Coordinator Reporting to – Manager, Member Services Contract – Permanent Hours - Full Time Salary - Competitive Job Purpose: To develop and deliver exceptional learning experiences for Credit Academy learners, supporting learner success and progression. The Credit Academy is the learning delivery arm of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), delivering qualification packages, training and webinars to our members and learners. The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for the planning, delivery, tracking and monitoring of progress of our yearly learning schedule for the Credit Academy learning provision (virtual classes, face-to-face, home study supported and home study, as well as training and webinars). Credit Academy learners include individual Studying Members, apprentices and Development Partner groups. ADVANCING THE CREDIT PROFESSION Key Responsibilities Delivery of exceptional learning experiences Help develop and implement the yearly Credit Academy Learning Plan: virtual classes, home study supported, home study and face-to-face. Work closely with the Professional Development Advisor to resource all learning events and provision. Liaise with colleagues across CICM to ensure the Credit Academy Learning Plan meets all needs, including Development Partner agreements, individual learner plans and Apprentice Training Provider services. Working with Member Support team, set up new and existing learners onto booked virtual and home study supported learning programmes. Provide advice and guidance to members and employers on Credit Academy studying/learning by phone (referrals from Member Support), email and/or face-to-face. Review results of learners’ feedback surveys/feedback on tutors, coaches, learning content and resources, working with colleagues to develop and implement improvement plans. Learner support and progression Monitor records and produce reports of learner progression, attendance and results for employers and Development Partners, Apprenticeship Training Providers and CICM colleagues, committees and Senior Management Team as appropriate. Support managers at the proposal development stage for Development Partner employers, by advising on operational delivery timelines and SLAs. Support and liaise with member service team on welcomes, reminders, next steps advice and information to all Credit Academy learners. Provide advice on learner’s additional needs and support. Successful candidates will have: Experience in a teaching/training delivery role in a similar sector or organisation Other skills and qualities assessed by selection process Skills: Planning skills and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly Excellent communication and relationship building skills Coaching skills Management reporting skills Strong IT skills Commercial/financial awareness.
