SEQUENCE OF EVENTS

A sequence of events or things is a number of events or things that come one after another in a particular order.

Look for signal words like first, next, last, before, after and finally to help you figure out the sequence.

: Example - I’d like to break my talk into the following topics. First,I’ll talk about lion. Next, I’ll come to zebra. After that, I deal with their life. Lastly, I’ll focus on what they eat.

- I’ll divide my talk into 3 parts. Frist of all, I’ll give you an overview of getting in the country. Then I’ll move on to an interresting place. Finally, I’ll focus on famous food before concluding with some recommendations.

- To start with this actress, I’ll describe her appearance. Then I’ll mention her habit. After that I’ll consider her movie. Finally, I’ll summarize my presentation.
