Preface

The ICDIS is a major multidisciplinary conference organized with the objective ofbringing together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia andindustry working in all areas of computer and computational sciences. It is orga-nized specifically to help computer industry to derive the advances ofnext-generation computer and communication technology. Researchers invited tospeak will present the latest developments and technical solutions.

Technological developments all over the world are dependent upon globalizationof various research activities. Exchange of information, innovative ideas is neces-sary to accelerate the development of technology. Keeping this ideology in pref-erence, the Second International Conference on Data and Information Sciences(ICDIS 2019) has been organized at Raja Balwant Singh Engineering TechnicalCampus, Bichpuri, Agra, India, during March 29–30, 2019.

The Second International Conference on Data and Information Sciences hasbeen organized with a foreseen objective of enhancing the research activities at alarge scale. Technical Program Committee and Advisory Board of ICDIS 2019include eminent academicians, researchers, and practitioners from abroad as well asfrom all over the nation.

In ICDIS 2019 proceedings, selected manuscripts have been subdivided into fivetracks named: Advanced Communications and Security, Intelligent ComputingTechniques, Intelligent Hardware and Software Design, Web and Informatics, andIntelligent Image Processing. A sincere effort has been made to make it an immensesource of knowledge by including 61 manuscripts in this proceedings volume. Theselected manuscripts have gone through a rigorous review process and are revisedby authors after incorporating the suggestions of the reviewers.

ICDIS 2019 received more than 250 submissions from around 550 authors ofdifferent countries such as India, Tanzania, China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, SriLanka, and many more. Each submission has been gone through the plagiarismcheck. On the basis of plagiarism report, each submission was rigorously reviewedby at least two reviewers. Even some submissions have more than two reviews. Onthe basis of these reviews, 61 high-quality papers were selected for publication intwo proceedings volumes, with an acceptance rate of 24.6%.

We are thankful to the keynote speakers Prof. Erma Suryani, ITS, Indonesia, andProf. K. K. Biswas, IIT Delhi, India, for enlightening the participants with theirknowledge and insights. We are also thankful for delegates and the authors for theirparticipation and their interest in ICDIS 2019 as a platform to share their ideas andinnovation. We are also thankful to Prof. Dr. Janusz Kacprzyk, Series Editor,LNNS, Springer Nature, and Mr. Aninda Bose, Senior Editor, Springer Nature,India, for providing guidance and support. About the Editors

Prof. Mohan L. Kolhe is a professor of electrical power engineering with a focuson smart grids and renewable energy at the Faculty of Engineering and Science,University of Agder (Norway). He has more than twenty-five years of internationalacademic experience in electrical and renewable energy systems. He is a leadingrenewable energy technologist and has previously held academic positions atprestigious universities around the globe, including University College London(UK / Australia), University of Dundee (UK); University of Jyvaskyla (Finland);and the Hydrogen Research Institute, QC (Canada).

Prof. Shailesh Tiwari currently works as a professor at the Computer Science andEngineering Department, ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India. He is analumnus of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. Hisprimary areas of research are software testing, implementation of optimizationalgorithms, and machine learning techniques in various problems. He has publishedmore than 50 papers in leading international journals and conference proceedings,and serves as an editor for various Scopus, SCI, and E-SCI-indexed journals. Hehas organized several international conferences under the banner of the IEEE andSpringer. He is a senior member of the IEEE, member of the IEEE ComputerSociety, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (FIE).

Prof. Munesh C. Trivedi currently works as a professor at the Computer Scienceand Engineering Department, ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India. Hehas published 20 textbooks and 80 research papers in various leading internationaljournals and conference proceedings. He has received Young Scientist andnumerous other awards from national and international forums, and has organizedseveral international conferences sponsored by the IEEE, ACM, and Springer. Heserves on the review panel of the IEEE Computer Society, the International Journalof Network Security, Pattern Recognition Letters, and Computer & Education, and

as an executive committee member of the IEEE UP Section, IEEE India Council,and IEEE Asia Pacific Region 10.

Prof. Krishn K. Mishra currently works as a visiting faculty at the Department ofMathematics & Computer Science, University of Missouri, St. Louis, USA. He isan alumnus of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India,which is also his home working institute. His primary areas of research includeevolutionary algorithms, optimization techniques, and the design and analysis ofalgorithms. He has published more than 50 papers in international journals andinternational conference proceedings. He has served as a program committeemember for several conferences and also edited Scopus and SCI-indexed journals.He has 15 years of teaching and research experience.
