The Cyprus National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), announces that, within the framework of 2018 International Museum Day (18th May), under the theme “Hyperconnected Museums: New approaches, new publics”, and the European Night of Museums (19th May 2018) the following events will be organised, most of which with free entrance:

SATURDAY, 19 MAY 2018State Gallery of Contemporary Cypriot Art Interactive art workshops for children and parents / guardians with artist & art teacher Rea Afantitou. “The Sound of a Dot, a Line and a Form”. A hands-on educational approach to elements of art and their musicality. - 16:00-17:30 for children 6-9 years & 18:00-19:30 for children 10-12 years (Booking essential: tel. 22458228)- Photographic presentation of artworks by students who took part in the art educational program Children of the State Gallery (2017-2018). The programme was designed and implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
