Marijuana is a popular substance that is talked about a lot in high school.

From 2006 to 2007, the percentage of 8th graders reporting lifetime use of any illicit drug declined from 20.9% to 19.0%.Reported past year use among 8th graders declined from 14.8% to 13.2%.

59.8 % of teens have had conversations with their parents in regards to using tobacco and alcohol.

have reported to have consumed alcohol. 26 % of teens and preteens, ages 12 to 17

have reported binge drinking with in 30 days of the survey.

6 % of teens who have began drinking have needed medical treatment for alcohol abuse problems

9.9 % of high school students have reported drinking then driving

28.5 % of students surveyed have been in a car with some one who had been drinking prior to driving

Of 50 studends surveyd, 40 have said yes to eitther smoking or drinking in the past or who still use.

4 said they used to use but found it not worth thr trouble and have not continued use

And 6 students have never used.

Most of the students in our school matched the results in the national survey.

Differences between our study and the national one is the amount of students tested but I do think our results are accurate.

It does go to show how many students are beginning to expiriment.
